I realized the purples were too close, so I changed them

and then I didn't like the pattern because it was cluttered with the colors I had, so I undid it and came up with a new design

Comments: I thought I would do something more brain dead today, but that didn't pan out lmao. Well, at least it wasn't as demanding as coming up with a drawing

I didn't have all the colors that the color challenge did, so I went as close as possible >_<;;

I threw in some white because it was getting really hard to define a nice pattern without it. I plan to put pearls into the sides later but I suppose I could have done it now, hm...

I'm not too sure how I feel about the design and the bracelet yet, but maybe it'll grow on me

Comments: I love postcards, but I had time choosing what to do... so I decided to choose yesterday's theme that I wanted to do (but didn't have the energy to) based on one of my favorite childhood books, The Secret Garden.

If you want to read about it, I have provided a small synopsis below:

It's about two cousins. The (orphaned) little girl hears about her aunt's secret rose garden after moving to their estate. By some stroke of luck/whimsy, she finds it, along with the key to the door. It is unfortunately dead and unkempt, but she decides to ask the gardener to help her plant new rose bushes. Later, she befriends her sickly cousin and shows it to him. He starts healing, both physically and mentally, after both he and his cousin work to restore the garden back to life, with the help of some of the adults in their life.

It's a cute story, and I remember loving it so much when I was young. I've since lost my copy or my mother stored it, but I'm thinking about buying another copy.

Comments: Okay after the other mandala... I realized I messed up once again. So I started over again, and this time in a more appealing yarn that i would like. I didn't have a white color available unfortunately, but this beautiful dark red purple looks nice! I added the beads today and the row before. It's getting really big so each row is taking longer and longer to finish lol. It's fun following this pattern! I kind of want to make a bunch of these and then put them together to make a pretty dress. Maybe haha
