Description:
I feel like I've pretty much mastered realistic horses at this point. (Could still use practice, but I've gotten the hang of it.) Next on the list for realistic animals are wolves/dogs. Well, I figured I'd draw my Chow-chow because, well, if you can draw one, you can pretty much call yourself the master of fur. x.x
It's not very good, but we've all gotta start somewhere, I suppose. Why's it so hard to draw real stuff? D=< - Date: 11/29/2008

- Its adorable. dont treat fur as lines representing hair. treat fur as shaped shadows and absence of shadows. focus on values and their shapes not making lines that represent fur. oh and never buy a chowchow. they are on the top 10 dumbest dog breed list, and for all you bulldog lovers bulldogs are the third in that list

x.x It's not a wolf, it's a Chow-Chow mix. Chows have short noses, round faces, and are often referred to as the "Bear" dogs.
I mostly specialize in cartoon animals, so, no realistic people, sorry. I can do horses and I'm working on canines. This is the first. - Report As Spam
