- Description: Well, as you can see, this is a mermaid =^.^= Her name is Seraphium, which I decided would mean a light blue. She's a character in a story I'm sorta thinking about. Anywho, I know I suck at drawing so I would really appreciate it if you could give me tips on how to improve her. Constructive crit please!!! *leaves herself in your hands*

- Its very well done... and I agree human characteristics are key to creating a piece your comfortable with if it is basically "human" (but with a tail =3) I am personally learning how to draw good constructive hands myself so I have really no tips there but if you have tips you can PM or comment me with your own!

- I sudjest having her as a human first and then draw the tail, to make it easier to draw her in a pose that your comfirtable with.
