- you should NOT use mechanical pencils for shading! they scratch the paper. you should use charcol pencils when shading. yea they are abit messier, but you get much better shades and tones.

- you should keep using mechanical pencil for shading, if you use anyother type of pencil then it looks weird, trust me ive tried. its an awsome drawing ^_^ though the right hand looks a little squashed O.o
