Just a characterization of the nasty voice in your head.
NOTE: The poem relates to: "the seven" which is a referance to the Seven Deadly Sins.
Also, the "scarred hand" is the automailed (since Fullmetal Alchemist uses the easiest word) arm-- sort of and evil clutch sort of thing, seeing as robots are considered evil is many sci fi's.
