My first pic of my OC Hayate sporting his new look, I have been experementing with different hairstyles to try and push him away from the flavor of the month manga style appearance. I have made him a little taller and generally longer of limbs, as will as making him a touch leaner and making a number of alterations to his clothing, the most notable of which is the bones on a string hanging from his waist.

- I suppose you are right there, but I dont want people to perceive my works as a Naruto knockoff, It would attract the wrong sort of readers who would get pissed when they realize it isnt like Naruto thus spreading word of mouth that it sucks.

- I can understand that, but you've gotta come to terms with the fact that there are a lot of characters in MANY different manga with similar hairstyles.

- I liked the old look to, but it was looking a touch to Japanese, and his haircut reminded me of Sasuke... and I really want to avoid being placed in the same boat as Naruto.

I liked Hayate's old look...but this one is more original...he looks more like....a cross between jamaican and indian.
Give more twist to the waist, its barely noticable. - Report As Spam
