- Gorgeous. Shadings and proportions are lovely. My only suggestion is on the lighter parts of the hair to apply a little less of the pencil on the lined areas of the hair. It'll make it softer. And when shading the hair, I suggest smudging. It's less time consuming and, once again, makes it look softer. Though your technique is good too =) I love realism portraits, which is why I do so many. It's nice to see a spotlight on this drawing. You deserve it.
