I recently discovered the wonders of Corel Painter 11.
Two of my original characters illustrated in a rather monotone fashion. The one at the front is a somewhat preternatural being and the person behind him is just a plain person who serves the other blindly.

I looked at that and at first thought it was a photoshop-ed photo. Then I realized it was a drawing.

- I really like this, I had some difficulties with Corel Painter 11. Perhaps I will download another trail and make a second attempt. I really enjoy your style, very realist and dark. You can tell the mood of this piece overall. 5/5 & favorited & a new fangirl
