- Title: Raku Abstract Vase

Description:
This is my raku abstract vase, was made 3 years ago while I was at a fine arts camp; Blue Lake Fine Art's Camp in Michigan.
How it was made:
Started witha slab and I stamped it with stamps and stencils then and I rolled it into a cylinder and add a bottom to one end. The other end was flared out like a flower petal. And yes, there's a little snail. =] This vase is for ornament only.
I used the raku tecnique to fire this, hence how I got the colorful and shiny look to the vase. - Date: 11/02/2008
