She was bloody and broken in her dad's arm until seconds later she gasped for breath and healed miraculously. Her parents had heard news stories about the "Freaks" but didnt think is was true until that day. Jade's parents did whatever in their power to keep Jade safe and away from the government. Jade met Dai when she was twelve when Dai took care of some chicks who were ragging on her though the encounter was brief it was the start of a eternal life friendship. Life seemed alright for Jade that is until the Christmas Eve that year, her home was invaded by government enforcements demanding Jade be taken with them. Her parents refused and fought against them but with little chance of living the last words Jade remebers from her parents were "RUN JADE NO MATTER WHAT JUST RUN, WE LOVE YOU!" She ran away never looked back, tears clouded her vision and she ran into the stranger who helped her before, Dai. Dai came down to her level and asked her what was wrong, Jade cried the story out in horror. Dai saw the sorrow in her eyes and picked up Jade in her arms and took her to a rundown house in the city. Jade's new life began that night Dai raising her to help her develop her talents and in the years to come form the resistance and fight for their lives.
