• A blond haired man sat upon his throne, his cape cascading to the floor. His gloved fingers drummed upon his leg in anticipation. He looked up, his two odd eyes glaring at his guest. "Well?" the king said impatiently "Who are you?".
The guest stepped forward, out of the two gaurd goblin's grasp and removed their cloak reveiling a shapely young woman, wearing a mask. "Jareth, I am a person from your past. Some one you may remember from a time in your life." The woman answered, her words muffled by the mask. Jareth sat up, his face showing that he was clearly intruiged. This woman's straight brown hair was just like hers, as was her voice. Who was this woman?

"You will be staying in the servant's quarters. Please follow me." Jareth directed, his cool voice sending shivers down the womans spine. As Jareth left, he began to remember. He closed his eyes and saw a young girl in a white ballgown, her face unseeable. They were dancing. The next memory quickly replaced the previous. In this one, he was in a tree, watching the same girl as she got bullied by to taller girls. Without a word, he leapt from the tree and whipped out a crystal ball. His clothes changed into humans fashion. he told off the bullies and was embraced by the same faceless girl. Jareth finally awoke from his trance. Just who was this mystery girl?

A barn owl flew to the balcony of the masked woman's room. He gazed into the window and saw a the mask on the floor, and the woman's face.
