• Once apon a time there was a girl and there was a ghost but not any girl and not just any ghost it was a girl in love with a ghost and a ghost in love with a girl.

    This girl was called Sophie Andrews and the ghost was called Alexander Kotro. The ghost loved the girl for a long time but the girl didn’t love the ghost, at least until she met him.

    Sophie was the kind of girl what wore black and other dark colours everyday she hated brighter colours and she had short hair died a very dark purple. On this particular day she was wearing a long dark red skirt with black tights, a dark red blazer with a grey shirt under it and a black hair band.

    One day Sophie was at school and like all the other days she was bullied, she was called freak, weird and nothing off everyone and she had no friends to talk to, to make it better. That night she was sitting up her room saying “they are right, I’m nothing” and cried into her hands, and then she felt something touch her hand and say “you aren’t nothing Sophie, you are much more. Please stop crying.” Sophie looked at her hand with her cheeks wet with tears and her eyes red from crying. She asked “Is someone there? Who are you?” the voice said “I am Alexander Kotro and I don’t want you to be sad anymore I am here for you.” Sophie wiped her cheeks with the untouched hand and asked “why can’t I see you and what are you?” Alexander replied by saying “you will have to wait Sophie, you can see what I look like and what I am when it gets dark.” Sophie stood up and said “ok and don’t follow me I have to go to the toilet” and blushed and went to the toilet then Alexander said “don’t worry Sophie I don’t intend on peeping on you I’m not like that”

    When Sophie got back she saw what Alexander looked like. He was sitting on the bed by the window, he had black messy hair, a pin striped trousers and a black pin striped tail jacket with a red cravat but everything was ripped. When Alexander realised Sophie was back in the room he looked at her and smiled. Sophie walked over to the bed and sat beside Alexander and said “you’re a ghost” then asked “why are you here?” Alexander looked at Sophie and said “one reason, I am here for you.” Sophie blushed and put her hand on Alexander’s then asked “why me? Everyone else hates me” Alexander held Sophie’s hand and said “I don’t hate you, I want to make you happy.”

    Sophie blushed and smiled and said “no one has been that nice to me” Alexander rapped his arm around her and said “I know but they don’t fell the way I do” Sophie looked at his arm and put her hand on his hand then said “how do you fell about me” Alexander looked at the ground and said “I fell strongly about you like I shouldn't let you worry, I love you Sophie." Sophie’s face grew bright red no one had told her that no one had even said they liked her. Alexander looked out the window and said “maybe I should go now.” Sophie grabbed Alexander’s wrist so he couldn’t go anywhere and said “please don’t” a tear grew in the corner of Sophie’s eye and Alexander asked “don’t you think what I said was weird” Sophie didn’t let go of Alexander’s wrist in fear of losing him and said “no I think its sweet no one has told me that before” Alexander sighed and said “I know you don’t fell that way about me so I’m best off leaving you” Sophie tightened her grip on Alexander’s wrist and said “please don’t your really nice to me and I do” Alexander looked at Sophie and seen that her cheeks had tears rolling down them and he said “do you really fell the way I do” Sophie nodded and let go off Alexander’s wrist and said “I do Mr. Kotro” Alexander looked at Sophie and smiled a little and said “don’t call me that Sophie please. Call me Alexander” Sophie hugged Alexander and asked “is it ok if I call you Alex?” Alexander rapped his arms around Sophie and said “you can call me anything you want to Sophie” Sophie smiled and said “ok Alex” and yawned then lay back with Alexander’s arms still around her and said “it is getting late maybe I should sleep” Alexander lay beside her with his arms still around her and said “ok Sophie I will be right next to you” Sophie yawned and said “ok Alex” and closed her eyes and fell asleep.

    The next morning Sophie awoke with a smile on her face because even though she saw nothing she felt a arm rapped around her and she saw the bed had a kind of dent in it like someone was lying there she took the arm that was rapped around her and kissed it then got out of bed got dressed and left for school…with a smile… when she got back home she wasn’t crying she just ran up to her room. When she opened her door she looked on the bed and there was a red rose and a note saying

    “You will have a note and a message everyday waiting for you, so you know I am here and always will be for you”

    That made the smile on Sophie’s face grow bigger and it made her giggle. Then she sat down next to the rose and picked it up and she heard “A red rose isn’t as beautiful as you” and she felt an arm rap around her then she said “I can’t wait until it gets dark I want to see you again” Alexander’s hand rubbed Sophie’s shoulder and she heard him say “don’t worry in one week you will see me for that full day” Sophie was confused but pretended to understand and nodded. Alexander then said “not long left Sophie, go get something to eat when you come back ill be sitting here for you” Sophie stood up and said “I am kind of hungry, ok ill go get myself something” and left the room and Alexander looked out the window waiting for her. When Sophie came back to the room Alexander was sitting by the window wearing the same as yesterday. Alexander didn’t realise Sophie walked into the room so she snuck up behind him, put her hands across his eye and said “guess who” and giggled. Alexander knew it was her and said “you’re a lovely girl when your happy” and held her hands. Sophie smiled and said “thank you Alex” Alexander smiled back and asked “anything bad happen today” Sophie shook her head and said “nope not today” Alexander said “that’s good” and kissed her lips softly. Sophie’s eyes widened and she blushed and then closed her eyes, Alexander put his hand on Sophie’s cheek and said “sorry if you didn’t want me to kiss you” Sophie was still blushing and said “its ok I was going to kiss you eventually if you didn’t kiss me” Alexander sighed then said “I’m sorry Sophie…I’m not going to be here until next week” Sophie’s heart froze for a second then she asked “but…why” her eyes started to fill with tears. Alexander held her hand and said “I will be back its just I have to do a test” A tear rolled down Sophie’s cheek and she asked “what test” Alexander wiped away the tear and said “a test I have to pass or I wont be able to stay in limbo. If I fail or miss this test I’m automatically getting set to hell…if I pass enough tests then I get to go to heaven. I can’t fail one. I’m so sorry Sophie” Sophie covered her eyes with her hands and cried heavily. Alexander rapped his arms around her and held her close and said “I will be back I promise I will visit everyday while your at school and tell you how am doing and before you leave for school or when you come back from school leave a note telling me how your day was at school I don’t want them hassling you again.” Sophie took her hands away from her eyes and rapped them around Alexander then put her head on his shoulder. The next morning Sophie woke up alone in her bed. At least that’s what she though. There was a rose sitting beside her and a note that said

    “I might not be with you but when I leave you a rose and a message I leave a part of my heart with you and remember that I’m always thinking of you”

    Sophie sat up and held the note and rose to her chest and cried. When Sophie went to school everyone talked behind her back. She didn’t hear much but she heard stuff like “has she been crying” “she looks awful” after a couple of days they just started pointing and laughing. 7 days after Alexander’s departure Sophie ran into trouble…that night Sophie was up her room crying her eyes out saying “please come back Alex” when she stopped saying that she lay down and said “why aren’t you coming back I need to talk to you” and she heard a voice behind her it said “tell me what is wrong my dear and stop crying” and a hand reach out from the window sill to Sophie’s cheek. She turned around and noticed Alexander then forced her self forward and hugged him. Alexander hugged her back and asked “what is wrong Sophie” Sophie looked at the ground and said in a quite lonely voice “something happened at school today” Alexander held Sophie close, looked at her eyes and said “what happened please tell me” Sophie said “its nothing much I just got bullied” Alexander looked at Sophie’s shirt he saw it was ripped and said “its more then that tell me” Sophie looked at Alexander and said “Nevermind its nothing” Alexander said softly “please tell me I need to know” Sophie sighed and said “no one cares about me” a tear rolled down Alexander’s cheek and he said “I care about you have you forgot that” Sophie quickly said “no of course not I meant everyone at school they treat me terrible and its worse when they try and do stuff to you” Sophie put her hand on the ripped part of her shirt and Alexander said “I am here now and I don’t want you going to that school again I know what you mean. Also I forgot to tell you…” Sophie looked at Alexander and said “forgot to tell me what...please don’t say your going to hell please don’t” Alexander said “no I’m not I passed so I am staying for at least an other year. This may be my last year.” Sophie forced her head onto Alexander’s shoulder and said “please don’t say that please stay don’t leave me” Alexander didn’t let go of her and said “I have no choice in the matter I have to go but I will try as hard as I can I will beg to stay with you” Sophie left her head on Alexander’s shoulder and said “ok but I won’t blame you if you have to go but I will miss you, more than anything.” And closed her eyes and fell asleep.

    In the morning Alexander was still there. Sophie could fell his arm rapped around her but couldn’t tell if he was asleep or awake so she asked quietly “are you awake?” she heard no reply and when it was really quite she could here him breathing what made no sense to her because he had no lungs he was dead so she decided to ask him when he woke up. About 10minutes later Alexander woke up and saw Sophie twiddling her thumps as though waiting for something and Alexander asked “are you waiting for something” Sophie jumped a little and said “please don’t surprise me like that. Also I have something I want to ask you nothing serious just something I’m curious about” Alexander sat up and said “ask away” Sophie sat up to and asked “how can you breath I though you died” Alexander answered by saying “yes I am dead but I can breath because I am on limbo I have to do the same things as I would if I was alive or I fell the pain of death but for longer.” That brought more questions into Sophie’s mind so she asked “how did you die” Alexander sighed and said “let’s just say I had enough. No one would talk to me no one understood me they all bullied me. I though no one was the same but then once I died I wondered he earth and I saw you. Beautiful, lonely and bullied I couldn’t let you suffer. I wanted to help you.”

    Things got better for young Sophie she left school and started home schooling with Alexander by her side she almost never left her room she only left for stuff like going to the toilet and getting food and Alexander followed her but not to the toilet. Sophie smiled ever day knowing Alexander was there when she woke up and went to sleep. One wonderful year later Alexander had to take a test again…he passed easily and now has to leave Sophie but he did say he would try as hard as possible to avoid leaving…

    Alexander is at the gate that leads up to Heaven. “Please I don’t want to go I want to stay” Alexander asked the gate keeper “no you can’t who would want to anyway” the gate keeper complained “because I found someone I really like” Alexander said in a shaky voice “we all have friends” the gate keeper said uncaring “NO!” Alexander shouted then continued “I mean I found someone I love and she loves me” “we all love to do I care? No now get in or else” the gate keeper threatened. Alexander fell to his knees and said “please I beg you I don’t want to leave her I love her so much” Alexander said with a tear falling down his cheek. The gate keeper sighed and said “do you love her more than anything?” Alexander raised his head and said “yes I do.” The gate keep looked at Alexander with hope and said “go have a word with cupid he can give life to people who are in love as long as its true love” Alexander stood up and said “thank you” and went in the gates towards cupid. When cupid seen Alexander he said “you love a girl don’t you and not just any girl a living girl you hated having to go to the test and when there you did nothing but though about her” Alexander’s eyes grew wide and said “how do you know” Cupid said “its true love I can tell, very easily” Cupid smiled and Alexander asked “can you send me back please?” Cupid looked at Alexander happily and said “I can do better.”…

    Sophie was in her room waiting for Alexander’s return singing songs to keep her happy and occupied. After about an hour she sighed and said “I don’t think he is coming back maybe I should give up” then she felt arms rap around her and heard a familiar voice say “please don’t do that I don’t want to leave you” she turned around and seen Alexander in the flesh and hugged him and said “your human, how?” Alexander kissed her cheek and said “because I love you” then Sophie lent back a little and said “really? Who helped you” Alexander smiled and said “cupid helped he is a really nice person he said I can get my life back to spend it with you” Sophie held Alexander and kissed him. Alexander did the same.
