- Walking down that street I could almost see her again. She was never one to shout or yell, but rather she sat in the back of class rooms and only talked when the teacher would ask her a question. The soft feeling of water on my skin broke my daydreaming as I stood there. I mean really though, I had been the one that was on the outside of the sidewalk. She was on the inside safe and sound, just like any gentlemen would know how to do. The thing that gets me still is the fact that she screamed. She pushed me out of the way and screamed. I can hear it piercing my ears still and feel it coursing through my soul. If I had been paying attention to our surroundings, if I hadn't been starring at her, she would be the one alive and I would be the one in the ground. I would gladly take her place in that coffin.
