Do it. Don't ask any questions, just do it.It's just not fair... Think it over...
The voices rang in my head over and over... One the angel, one myself. I couldn't speak...
There he was, kneeling in front of me on one knee. The beautiful ring shone in the small velvet covered box as he looked at me hopefully.
You love him. Accept it. Now.
You don't know! Don't you remember? This is the guy that made all of...
Shush.
I do love him... or at least... that's what my mind was saying. I looked down at the box, speechless again. How long had I known him? About a year. Why hadn't I seen this coming? Because you didn't expect it. Why was I hesitating so much?
You shouldn't doubt the man who wants so much to be your future husband.
If you have a reason to doubt being with him for eternity, than reject him.
Look at him! Look at him, he's so hopeful! And all he wants is you. He's confident, he's pouring out his feelings and giving them to you! What more could you want?
Proof that he loves her.Hmmm... I wonder what that ring in his hand is for.
Looking down at him helplessly, I saw his hope fade in the tiniest bit. My heart skipped a beat as he did so. I fidgeted around in my seat just a little bit, my mind focused on what the two on my shoulders were saying.
Look, you're going to have to answer him soon.
Yes, or, you could wait. Think it over.
No, just tell him ri-
The voices disappeared as he spoke, the people on my shoulders disappearing as my focus on them disappeared.
"I can understand if you want to wait." He said as he started closing the box.
"I don't want to wait." I said, grabbing his hand about to close the box softly, "I do want to marry you."
His frown turned into a shocked expression as I smiled at him. He grinned and picked me up from the dining chair, spinning me around in his arms. I guess I never really needed to listen to them. Laughing as I spun in a circle with the one and only man I would ever loved, I grinned. This would always be the happiest moment of my life... so far.
Wow... This would have been much easier if we hadn't even spoken.
I guess waiting wasn't the best idea huh...
Ha! I was right! But, she was hesitating... I don't think we should try to talk her into or out of things anymore.
It doesn't mean we shan't.
Hehe. I can't wait until the actual wedding.
