• She woke up, glad to escape the nightmares that plagued her every night. Loren saw her and sat next to her, putting his hand on her shoulder and brushing hair off her face.
    " Another nightmare again?"
" Yeah, except this time it was more real, like I could actually feel it."
    Loren smiled.
" Well, your fine now, so go back to sleep."
" I cant. I'm going to go run for a while."
Loren stood back so she could get up, then watched as she disapeared.

Morning soon came. Loren waited patiently for her to return. He started to worry when she came back. He stood over her and stroked her hair.
    " Feeling better?"
    Aisling pulled away and sighed.
    " No, not really."
Loren went to her and hugged her around her waist.
" I dont think finding this vampire in your nightmares is such a good idea, Rosalie."
She turned to look at him.
" I have to. He's looking for me, and I have to find out why."
Loren reached up and touched her face.
"I just... don't want you getting hurt."
Rosalie jumped away playfully and phased. She had silver-white fur.
"Really? Whose going to protect me?"
Loren laughed and phased too, his fur a very dark brown, almost black. They raced off together into the night.

That night, Rosalie couldnt sleep. She stared up at the stars. She was drifting off when she heard a noise behind her. She quickly stood up and turned around. In the middle of the clearing stood a vampire. His short black hair was shaped into a fauxhawk, and he had piercing golden eyes, different from Loren's gray ones, but exactly like hers. He smiled and showed his fangs. He took a step forward. She phased and growled menacingly. It was Edge, the vampire in her dreams. She knew it somehow. Something about him was just so... She didnt have time to think about it. Loren was still sleeping, so he had no need to get involved. After all, she could protect herself right? She took off silently, and sure enough, Edge followed.
