• “Lissa Hurry Up!” yelled Marlee. “We are going to be late for school!”
“I can’t find my pen!” Lissa yelled down the stairs.
Lissa and Marlee where 16 year old identical twins, Lissa was 10 minutes older that Marlee.
“Wait I found one.” Yelled Lissa as she thumped down the stairs and ran outside.
“’ Bout time the boys are waiting and I hope the bus hasn’t left other wise we will be walking 2 ½ blocks to school!” said Marlee as she took off running.
“Well sorry! It is not my fault that i am losing my pens… I lend my pens and I don’t get them back.”
Marlee was the athletic one out of the two she was involved in volleyball, cheerleading, fastpitch, soccer, softball, basketball, cross-country, baseball, and track. Lissa on the other hand was the quieter one she read, she studied, was in drama, she was first flute in band and she loved to write.
    “Hold that bus!” yelled Marlee.
“You girls are never late.” Said the bus driver.
“Lissa couldn’t find her pen.” Said Marlee as she glared at Lissa.
“Sorry. You could'ev gone with out me” Said Lissa a little annoyed.
“We though you guys would be late for school.” Said Luke Lissa’s boyfriend.
“We where a little worried,” Said Marq Marlee’s boyfriend.
Luke and Marq where fraternal twins; Luke was older by 2 minutes. He loved the same things as Lissa and enjoyed soccer. He didn’t play the flute; he played the clarinet. Marq on the other hand was like Marlee, but he was not in volleyball and cheerleading, but he played football.
“Are we still on for tonight?” asked Luke.
“Ya. I can’t wait. We have been going out for six months. What are you planning?” asked Lissa.
“Well… something romantic, dinner at a fancy restaurant and a movie.”
But that wasn’t all, Luke had something else up his sleeve that Lissa didn’t know about.
“We always do that,” complained Lissa.
In band Lissa was first Flute and Luke was first clarinet, so Lissa warmed up her flute and turned around and pressed Luke for more details.
    “Come on Luke, please?”
“NO! It will be a surprise.”
Before Lissa could answer, the band teacher told them to settle down and start warm-ups. After warm ups they played music from the Nutcracker and Swan Lake.
Lissa’s next class was English and she took out the pen she had found.
“Lissa, will you read what you wrote? I trust it will be as good as always.”
So Lissa came up and read her story. The first part was as good as always, but the end was written with the pen she found at her house and it was better than always.
“The beginning was okay, but the end was amazing!”
    “Thank you!”
Later in science she had a test and she always gets 1-3 wrong on her test, but she used the pen and got 100% on her test.
That night Luke and Lissa went out he gave her a beautiful braclet that has dimons on the form of the word forever.
    "I love it, thank you!"
    “You ready to go?”
    “Yes, where are we going?”
“We are going to a drive-in-movie!”
    “Well let’s go!”
So they went to the drive-in-movie and had a great time. When they were just about to start to make-out her pen staretd to leak all over her purse.
“Ohh!” groaned Lissa. “My pen is leaking all over my purse!”
    “Let me help you.”
“No. I will just throw the pen out the window.”
But little did she know, the pen would be on her desk in the morning.
When Lissa woke up the next morning she saw the pen on her desk.
“I thought that it was in the parking lot at the drive-in-movie.” Though Lissa.
“Marlee did you go to the drive-in-movie last night?”
    “No, why?”
“Well my pen started to leak so I threw it out of the window of Luke’s truck. But it is on my desk.”
“Well take it apart and leave in a plastic bag and bury it deep in the backyard.”
“I will do just that. Thanks!”
So Lissa went over to her desk and took the pen apart but she didn’t bury it. Instead she called Marlee in.
“What is it?” asked Marlee, a little annoyed.
“Look at this pen. It is so strange. It does not look like any normal pen.”
“You’re right. Let’s take it to Professor Michael. He was surprised with the pen.
“It is unlike any thing I have ever seen. May I keep it for further tests?”
“Yes you may. When I went out last night I threw it away, but it was on my desk this morning so I would keep in a safe that is like a foot think on all sides.”
“Yes, I think will do that.”
    “Thank you Professor.”
“You’re welcome girls. Say hi to your parents for me.”
    “Sure thing.”
So they left. The next day they got a letter saying that the pen is magical and Lissa couldn’t use it any more because is was going to be used for more tests, but that was just fine with her.
    THE END
