My first night on this wretched island was terrible! Not only did Captain Moore neglect me of a tent, it started raining. I was trudging through the forest just fine when night started to fall so I thought it was a good time to build shelter. I gathered some large leaves from this exotic plant and stacked them all on a couple of low tree branches. It held up fine until the rain came pouring down. I was nestled under my makeshift tent when a giant puddle of water gathered on the top and broke through the leaves soaking me from head to toe. I got up to see if there was a better place to rest then suddenly the wind kicked up and the rain poured down even harder. I was drenched and cold and before I new it, I was sliding down face first in a pool of mud. all I could see, and taste, was mud. It was awful. I came to a stop inside this big, dark cave. I thought I was safe, but when I sat down, I sat on a lizard. It screeched, jumped up, and bit me. I've only been here for one day and I already hate this stupid island.
