- What the hell gave him the right?! Such words of abhorrence, bitterness, cruelty should never be allowed to escape mans mouth. I stared at him, and he stared through me. I felt the piercing ice from his stare seep through my eyes, down my spine, until it bore throughout my entire body. Pain ached upon my heart, not only from the chill that he wrought upon me but also from the words he spoke. I couldn't stand him. I hated him. Burning rage stirred within me... should I release it? Was he even worth it? What would I prove if I broke his nose and busted his lip? I only became angrier as the mere thought that I was thinking this through, as I did with every situation, overcame me. People were starting to gather around us and the imbecile kept talking and talking. He took a step forward as he continued his meaningless speech. What his goal was to achieve I know not but I couldn't take it anymore. I shoved him and jumped atop him. I thrashed and punched as he flailed about. "Who the hell are you to belittle me you a*****e!" I found myself yelling though it couldn't be heard through the chanting around us, "Go! Go! Go! Go!" and the fact that I was going through puberty and my voice was cracking. Kicks in my guts, choking on my throat, a punch in the eye, a shiner for sure that wouldn't show. I was about to finish this hoax for good until I felt what i swore was the hand of God lifting me to the heavens from which a battle I didn't stand a chance in... but then I looked up to see the stern, stiff face of disappointment that always seemed to be pasted upon our principles face. Two weeks suspension. I'm going to miss the drama club play, the great prank my friends and I planned to set on the girls softball team, and my final exams... all because of the words... fagot, queer and fairy.
