Zane was leaving Minowa, heading North on a small country road, continuing his journey to find his lost memory. He thought about the last few events that occurred since he woke up in the forest. First, I wake up in the middle of nowhere, having no clue how or why I was there, and second, I have a strange dream/nightmare about a voice and a girl, and wake up holding this dark necklace. When Zane woke up holding the necklace, he immediately fell asleep once more, only to wake up with it securely placed around his neck. Zane tried to cut it off with his dagger, but it didn't even leave a scratch. When Zane tried to pull it over his head, it seemed to shrink, and then as soon as he stopped pulling, it resumed it's normal length. Zane decided to just wear the necklace, but hid it under his clothes just to be safe.
The road he traveled on seemed to go on and on, around the rim of the forest he had woken in the day before. At least it was daytime, so he could see where he was going, not that he knew where he was going at this point. There was a slight valley filled with thick, green grasses and animals on his left, with the forest at his right. He saw a few other travelers on the road passed him and said hello, other than that, just a road.
He walked until the sun was just beginning to set, the sky turning a beautiful maroon color. He noticed a house on his right side, the forest cleared away from it. He saw two figures near the house, so he walked toward them. It's her... Zane thought. That girl. The one from my dreams! The dark blue hair, green eyes, it has to be her! A familiar name came into Zane's head at the sight of her. Lynn. Zane wasn't sure what to say when the girl ran up after seeing him, so he asked, "Lynn? Is that you?" The girl gave him a puzzled look, as if she was looking at some crazy beggar, then nodded approval. "No, I'm Victoria. But I guess you can call me whatever you want." The girl smiled warmly. An older man approached them. "Who's this, Victoria?" The man asked, motioning towards Zane. "Oh! That's umm... Wait, who are you?" Victoria asked Zane. "I'm Zane, I'm just passing by and saw you two here, and I thought I might ask for a place to stay overnight. I can pay you." Zane said to the older man. "Oooh! Can we daddy, please? We haven't had a visitor in forever!" Victoria pleaded the older man. "Alright, he can stay. But only one night. How about five gold?" The older man said gruffly. "Sure!" Said Zane, grateful to have a place to sleep tonight. Zane reached in his pocket and pulled out ten gold and put it in the man's waiting hand. "Ok, we have a spare room, but it hasn't been used in a while, so shake the bed sheets. Oh, and my name's Bruno, and this is my daughter, Victoria." Bruno said, proudly announcing his daughter.
Bruno walked off, picking up the nearby axe, to chop some more wood. "Sorry about my dad, sometimes he can be a bit grumpy." Victoria said quietly. "That's ok." Zane said as he laughed. "Well, let me show you the house." Victoria said, quickly turning around and walking towards their house. She showed Zane their kitchen, each of their bedrooms, the spare room, where Zane was going to sleep. "If you don't mind I'm probably going to get some sleep now." Zane told Victoria as they got to the spare room. "Oh, alright then." Victoria said, a slight sad look on her face. She turned and left, closing the door. How old is she? She looks a couple years younger than me, but she still acts so childish. Zane couldn't remember how old he was, but he guessed 23-28. Oh, well, she'll forget about it in the morning.
It was a warm night, so Zane removed everything but his underwear and crawled into bed, after flipping the sheets around. As soon as he put his head down, he drifted off.
"Hey. Hey. Hey! Wake up, you!" A familiar voice said. Zane opened his eyes and saw Victoria standing over him. "What are you waking me up for?" Zane asked groggily. "I want to show you something. Come on, get out of bed and put some clothes on." Vicoria backed up a little, making room for Zane to get out of bed. Victoria didn't know Zane was only in underwear, and when he got up, she blushed, but he was already turned around. Zane put his clothes on, aware of Victoria watching. He didn't care, if she wanted to leave, she would have. "So what did you want to sh---" Zane started, interrupted by a slight bang from the other end of the house. "What was that?" Victoria asked Zane, giving him a nervous look. "I don't know." Zane whispered, grabbing his sword. He started towards the door, Victoria so close she was practically on top of him. He carefully peered around the corner of the door. To the right was the end of the hall, with Victoria's bedroom, and her father's was to the left, upstairs. To the far left was the kitchen and the entrance to the house. They heard the bang again, louder this time, and Victoria muffled a scream with her hand. Three figures entered the front door...

- I really like the part about the magical necklace. That was cool, I think it would have been better if you explained the house and the situations more. I need to be able to see it in my mind. Anyway, I thought Zane was younger from the way he was acting, when he is around bruno, really press the manliness between them. Like *they stood eye to eye* that way he seems much older. Oh also, it's a new paragraph whenever a different person speaks. Other than that, you have a
