• More sound's of shattering glass, pounding, footstep's, and Autumn's cry's of pain echoed threw out the house. Finally I had enough, I alway's had a camping knife on hand in case the was an emergancy and this was one of those emergancy's. I slowly opened the closet door and peeked out to see if anyone had made it into the room, fortunatly no one did. I slowly made my way to the main door and slowly undid the lock....another horrible cry of pain from Autumn rang in my ear's, it was horrible to hear. I cracked the door to peered out and saw what was going on. Five large Brid-like people had surrounded Autumn, who was lying in a pool of his own blood. Suddenly one of the monster's surrounding Autumn lifted a clawed foot and stomped on Autumn's back, claw's riping his shirt and skin, another horrifying cry escaped Autumn. Suddenly everything Autumn taught me came flooding back, must of been the adrenaline rush maybe. I decided to do what Autumn called "Mind Mapping". Using my "special ability's" I could use a plan, say a head-on assult, and know what my opponent's would do and plan what I would do to counter. So armed with this information I sneacked quietly up behind the bird-like monster's. Autumn suddenly caught sight of me and had shock and horror written on his face. I picked up a peice of rubble when I got close to the stairs and hurled it as hard as I could at the closest bird thing, which I got a bulls eye right smack dab in the middle of his head! They turned looked and as they stared at me I made a face an ran up the stair's, heavy footsteps clearly autable behind me. I made a dash for Laura's room and locked the door. I opened and closed the closet door. Laura had a huge closet, but she showed me a little elevater type lift that went from her room back to the basement so I was gonna take it. I climbed in and yanked on the rope to lower me. I was going so quick I hadden't even noticed that I had burned my hand's in my haste but at this point the only thing that mattered to me was to help Autumn. I finally got down to the "Laundry room" and cracked the door to peer out, there was only one creature gaurding Autumn. It had him pinned on the ground by its clawed foot. So I walked out like I haden't noticed either of them and had my back turned looking around vaugly. The creature left Autumn and made a dash for me, I mover back into the door and heard it crash into the wall. Apon looking it had it's head stuck in the wall, and Autumn was free. I rushed over to him and helped him up, " Luna what are you doing?!" He tryed to yell, it came out sounding like a whisper. " Saving your butt, or would you like me ot help the over grown turkey out?" I asked sarcastically. He did not find it funny at all. I dragged him over to the room he had locked me in and i sat him agenst the door and re-locked it. " Luna we need to call for help....do you have your phone?" He asked in a raspy voice. I handed it to him, no sooner then when he started dailing did I hear footstep's coming down the staircase once again....if help didn't come soon we were done for.....
