• -Chapter 3-

I sighed in disappointment as I realized that I had failed in my pursue. I walked in and slumped down onto the sturdy, twin sized bed. I scanned around the room for any clues of who the my stalker could have been. My eye was caught by a shiny trinket that was laid out on the desk underneath the open window.
I got up and walked over to it slowly, expecting something to jump out at me. The shiny trinket was a red, diamond looking stone, shaped like a heart, it was held in place by a thin gold frame that looked like a leafy vine. It hung by a thin gold chain. I picked it up and looked around to see it anybody was looking. I stuffed it into my pocket and ran out of the abandoned 2nd floor of the mansion, totally forgetting that my whole purpose of coming into the house was to go to the bathroom.
I ran outside, my only thought of getting away from the house before anyone could miss the oddly beautiful necklace.
I couldnt spot Vandrew nor Eric anywhere. My eyes rested on Nate, who was obviously wasted, stumbling around, yelling over the deafening music "Iris! Oh Iris my love! Where are you baby?!". I rolled my eyes disgusted and headed the opposite direction into a large crowd that were all gossiping about random things.
I pushed my way past all the drunk, gossiping teenagers and found myself at the front of the house, facing the long eerie grape vine lined pathway. I walked down the pathway slowly, hopeing to get to Vans Escalate and put the necklace in the car before anyone could notice my abstinence. As I neared the end of the long pathway, I saw something that made my heart race.
The shadow I had seen inside the house.
I ran to the very end, out onto the dirt road that lead either back down the the highway or further up into the vine yards.
I looked both ways, panting because of the sudden rush of adrenaline. There, in the middle of the dirt road stood a dark figure, his gloved hands lighting the cigarette that was wedged between his big, soft looking lips.
"Hello?" I said nervously, my feet feeling glued to the floor.
"Yes?" He said as he put the lighter back in his pocket, and turned around to face me.
"Why do you keep following me?" I asked as I inched my way towards him.
The closer I got, the more I could smell the alluring, lustful, mouthwatering aroma that came off of, what seemed, every part of him.
"Um, I think, your, the one that is following me, not vise versa." He said in a deep husky, sensual voice.
"I uh, uh..." I couldnt speak! It was as if the world was spinning around me.
"Sure, I looked at you but then you followed me upstairs into Dans bed room. Now, when I come out here, I see you, again." He said as he closed the space in between us.
He towered above me, about 5 in. at that.
My lip quivered, i had a sudden feel of complete lust toward this stranger, stronger than I had ever felt before.
    "Are you ok, Iris?"
Oh, say my name again! was all I could think.
"Wait, how do you know..." I started.
"You name? I know many things about you." He whispered in my ear.
It sent shivers down my spine.
    "Like what?" I said breathlessly.
"Things that are not important right now." He said as he stood up straight.
    "When will they be important?"
"Youll see." He said as he walked past me into the darkness.
I turned back to look at him, but he was already gone.
"He knew my name." Was all I could whisper to myself as I walked over to the car and sat inside.

I closed the side door and rested back in the seat. I let my head fall back against the head rest. I closed my eyes and tried to get my breathing even.
A loud thump made me jump almost out of seat.
I looked over to the window, my heart racing.
Nate stood there, his face pressed against the window, a half drunken bottle of Ever glow in his left hand.
    "Iris!" He slurred out.
"Go away Nate!" I yelled back, not i the mood for his crap.
He opened the side door and smiled and odd, drunk smile.
"Dont be like that baby." He said as he climbed into the car.
He pushed me down onto my back so the I faced upwards. He climbed on top of me, ditching the Ever glow and throwing behind him outside.
"G-get off of me Nate." I said as I tried to push him off.
"Oh shhhh." He said as he grabbed my arms and ran his hand up to my wrists. He removed his left hand and reached into his pocket. He pulled out a small rope and a knife. With one hand he tied my wrists together, with the other he traced over my skin with the knife.
"You dont want me to accidentally slip while Im having fun do you?"
I bit my lip to stop the tears from flowing down my cheeks, I shook my head.
"Then dont squirm." He said as he slid my tu-tu off.
He slowly un buttoned my pants and then leaned in and whispered in my ear:
"I want to hear you scream."
He slid my pant off and threw them out of the car. He sat up and stared down at me.
I was helpless, and I had no weapons or ways of escaping.
Then suddenly a knife pressed against Nate's neck.
    Van whispered to Nate:
    "You wanna back down buddy?"
"Uh, uh ya." Ate said, confused by the sudden turn of events.
"Drop the fukkin knife." I heard Eric yell.
Nate dropped the knife and put his hands up like he was under arrest.
"Now get out of the car." Van said, the knife still pressed against Nates neck.
Nate stumbled out of the car and onto the floor. Van kicked him down and Eric took the knife he had in his hand and started threatening.
I sat up, my heart feeling like it was going to break through my chest.
Van came over to the car and smiled a comforting smile. He opened his arms up to me and I fell into them. He hugged me and I let the tears stream over my face.
I saw out of the corner of my eye Eric kick Nate in the face. Nate ran off. Eric walked over and joined in a group hug.
"You ok Ei?[for people who dnt know "Ei" is pronounced "eye"]" Eric asked.
"I dont know." I said with a shaky voice.
"We're leaving." Van said as he put me in the back of the car. He put my pants and tu-tu next to me. The heart necklace fell out of the pocket.
I picked it up and put in on. It glimmered in the moon light.
I looked up at Dans window and saw the mysterious shadow.
I blinked and it wasnt there anymore.
