• I'd remember this day, like the back of my sword




    our house had the most amazing view of the ocean, every morning I'd wake up and smell that salty sea air and wish mama and papa would teach me to be a pirate.
    our house was never lonely for both crews from my parents ships would live with us.

    so I'd always have some one playing with me outside or inside, but they were mostly men except for a few women mama had on her ship,
    well on the day that would ruin my life for good and having me seek revenge, everyone was sleeping it was like 4 in the morning and i woke up
    i tried to fall back asleep but couldn't for some reason i tossed and turned for what seemed like forever before i finally got up grabbed my jacket and went out side

    the sun was just peeking over the horizon and i saw red skies a beautiful sea and my tree.
    papa planted that tree for me to play on. It had one swing on a big branch,

    it was a willow tree. I'd spend so much time playing around with the low hanging branches that nearly touched the ground, mama would always to drag me in telling me not to play outside so much.

    i went over and to the tree and patted it, then climbed up to the highest branch i could,
    i looked out of the branches and smiled at the scene it was so calm and i was hidden from view if i sat still no one could find me...

    that's when i saw it, the enemy, i could spot a friendly ship or enemy ship from any where and i knew this one meant trouble
    *i remember mama and papa's last outing, they came back with so many goods and saying how they took on 3 ships*
    i counted 3 ships heading toward my perfect house

    *no their here i have to wake everyone up*
    i climbed down the tree as fast as i could and when i reached the bottom i took off running toward the house

    "GET UP ENEMY SHIPS ARE APROCHING!!!!!" i shouted through the house waking everyone up i made a dash to my parents room as everyone started getting ready for battle
    i opened my parents door and yelled
    " ENEMY SHIPS ARE COMING THIS WAY!!!"

    they both woke up real quick mama rushes to put clothes on as well as papa after they had that done papa grabbed his and mama's weapon then ran out of the room,
    mama picked me up and rushed out side to see the ships were almost here that's when we heard it

    BOOM

    a cannonball go's right past us and hits the house me being born into a pirate family, growing up with pirates, i took charge, jumping out of mamas arms grabbed a gun and ran over to the cliff, i shot about 3 men in the head
    "YO BLOOD THATS SOME FINE SHOOTING!"
    billy one of my best friends yelled to me.
    he's papa's deck boy, but as i turned around to keep shooting a cannon ball flies right past me nearly touching me i dropped my gun, that's when mama rushes and picks me up
    "shh it's gonna be alright heart it's gonna be alright" mama reassured me
    "flora! billy!" mama called her right hand girl
    flora came running toward us as well as billy
    "yes rose?"
    "take heart and hide in the willow no matter what don't let her die!"
    mama yelled over the noise of gun fire, she handed me over to flora
    (here's the deal mamas right hand girl is her sister my aunt and their twins except flora has Blondie hair that's where i get my blond hair from my moms side but anyways they are both feared mamas just feared a little more then flora)
    flora made a break for the willow along with billy when she got there she pushed me up onto my branch then climbed up her self billy climbed up last, once we settled rather quickly we watched the war that was taking place in my own back yard
    tears fell off my face as i watched people i loved fall
    i saw papa taking on four men at once, mama taking on a caption and others still fighting
    the war went on and on and flora did something to me just before i saw it...

    mama and papa fell to the ground...dead

    right before i fell unconscious i saw the man who killed my family... and im gonna get my revenge
