    "Um... Umi?"

    "Are you listening to me, Umi?"
    ...A crazy vampire...

    It had all happened so quickly. Kazu swinging his baseball bat at him... Kazu getting hit in the arm with broken glass and needing stitches... And Kazu ending up in the hospital because of being poisoned by him.

    'Him' is my ex-boyfriend named Jack. I don't like talking about him. And Kazu, he's my current boyfriend. You see, Jack and Kazu used to be best friends, but one day, Kazu decided to tease Jack because Jack didn't have a Japanese name and he was from Japan. But one day, Jack got his revenge. He threw a piece of glass at Kazu and poisoned him. But boy was Kazu mad, so he swung a bat at Jack.

    Well, let's cut to the chase and get to the beginning of my story.

    "Wow Jack, your teeth are so... sharp." I had said, grinning. "Well babe, I do sharpen them." Jack grinned. "And your skin, it's so... pale." I said, embarrased I'm just noticing this now. "Well, yeah, I don't really go into the sun a lot." Jack blushed. "Wait, your skin is pale, your teeth are sharp, YOU'RE A VAMPIRE!" I screeched. "Shhhh, you dumbass! Nobody may know, and there's billions of people at this mall!" Jack hissed. "Ok, ok! (Smart alec!)" I said, frowning. "WHAT did you just SAY to me?!?! I'm no smart alec! You know what? It's over!" Jack cried. "W-what? B-but... I l-love you! P-please d-don't leave m-me! I b-beg you!" I started crying, burying my hands into my face. "Look, I'm sorry. We c-" I cut Jack off. "You know what? I'm infuriated! And as I say this to you it may faze you, but I am NEVER talking to you AGAIN! Ya hear?" I screamed, running away. "Come baaaaaaack!" I heard Jack call out. But I had already ran out, and I wasn't turning back.

    "Hey, Kazu. Please call me back after you hear this message. Something tragic happened and I want you to know. Um... bye." I said, still weeping over my break up. I stopped the message. I was trying to call Kazu on my phone, but he didn't pick up. But an hour later, I heard...

    ...Doo-dee-leat-dee-doo-dee-doo. That was my ringtone.

    "Hello?" I said. "Um, yeah, it's Jack. Is Umiyuki there?" Jack said. I made my voice high and squeaky. "Um no, but I can tell her what you say." I said, chuckling. "Ok. I wanted to tell her that I love and miss her, and that I want her back. Is that clear, ma'am?" Jack sniffled. "Um, sure. UMIYUKI, COME HERE! A YOUNG BOY NAMED JACK WANTS TO TALK TO YOU!" I yelled, holding my phone away from my ear. "Ok, coming!" I said softly in my regular voice. "Ok, Umi. I wanted to tell you tha-" Jack started. I cut him off again. "It's ok, don't waist your breath. I heard what you said. I think you want to save your breath for saying 'Hey, that was some kiss!' after I kiss you." I giggled. Jack mumbled something to himself and then laughed. "Oh, ok. I'll see ya later than, Umi. Buh-bye now!" And then Jack hung up.

    Another hour later, I heard my ringtone. I picked up my phone.

    "Hi, Umiyuki?" A voice like Kazu's said. "Yeah, Umiyuki here. What up, Kazu?" I said, ganster-like. "Not really much. Just returning your call. How about you?" Kazu had a smile in his tone. "I'm fine, thanks. So, wasn't your birthday yesterday? Aren't you 18 now or something?" I wanted to change the subject. "Um yeah..." Kazu said, and the line went dead.
