• Its been a week since the incident. Seth has recovered quicker than I thought. I spent the time tracking down rogue vampires because the werewolves had supposedly disappeared. I haven't had any luck lately. I guess Idaho was a less likely place to hunt vampires. Over the time spent waiting for Seth to recover, I decided to visit my old friend Jessica.
    Now when I told Thursday this idea, she wasn't too happy about it. Jessica's brother was a werewolf and she was married to a werewolf named Ben. I had heard that they were in a place named Mercury. Now the name is really strange because it's only named that because it's a remote area in Oregon. The werewolves had discovered it a while back(about 20 years ago, I read alot about histories of remote locations written by Seth) when the pack was in search of a new home.

    I slowly walked down the stairs, a small bag slung over my back. I headed for the coat rack to grab my hat and gun, but a finger tapped me on the shoulder. I spun around to see Jacob. I figured that he just woke up because his brown hair was messy and his eyes were half shut.
    "What do you think you're doing?" He gazed at me with worried eyes. Odd....
    "I told you. To go see Jessica." I started to turn around but another hand grabbed my shoulder with enough force to stop my movement. I looked to see it was Seth.
    "Shadow..." His voice was soothing, but his eyes were concerned and I knew then that it pained him that I was leaving.
    "Werewolves can be dangerous. Why would you even bother with them?" Jacob interrupted, apparently annoyed by the way Seth had approached me. He glared at Seth but Seth appeared calm, which made me blush a little.
    "Promise you'll be careful?" Seth said soothing me with his angelic voice.
    "O-Of course. I brought silver bullets just in case I have a run in with the werewolves." I stammered.
    "I have a surprise for you. You never received my present." He spun me around and put his arm around my waist, then walked me out the front door useing his other hand to place my hat on my head. Jacob scowled behind us.
    We walked out onto the front steps. It was twilight so the sun was barely over the tall oak trees. Parked at the bottom of the steps was a shiney black motorcycle. I gasped. It looked exactly like my old one. I used to ride a motorcycle when I traveled to far off places that would take too long to reach by foot.
    {I had been hunting a pack of werewolves at the time. I was chaseing a particularly fast one on my motorcycle when another one came up from behind me. He was big and slashed out with his claws at the back of my motorcycle. It swerved dangerously and I was forced to jump off of it onto the hard ground. It hit a tree and the rest is history......}
    "Seth! How did you do it?" I was utterly bewildered.
    "I built it from scratch in my spare time. It can go much faster than your old one." He grinned and released his grip on my hip to let me take a look at it. I sat down o it admireing the symbol that he had painted onto it. It was a silver rose, but it was so detailed that it looked real. It was painted on the back so that it wouldn't get ruined if I drove through a bush or something.
    The seat was so soft! I loved everything about it!
    "Seth, this is amazeing!!!" I quickly jumped off of the bike and ran up to him. I gave him a quick hug and went to sit back down on it. He seemed very pleased and grinned at my excitement.
    "Bye Seth! And you too Jacob!" I shouted as I reved the bike and proceeded to leave.
    "Be careful!" He shouted as I drove off onto the gravel. I excellerated my speed to 80mph so that I would make it by noon and was surprised to find that I sped up with ease, unlike my old bike.

    To be continued...
