Six months later. Max and Alison still going strong. She walked outside to get the mail, and the early June sun was beating down. There was something for Alison, she opened it, and smiled. An invitation to Cassie's pool party. Cassie was one of her friends, but Alison had been in a battle with her over a boy before she started dating Max.
The next day, Alison found out this would be the first party since December that she'd go to dateless. Max had a wrestling match the day of the party. "Try not to look too hot without me." he said sarcasticly the day of the party. He kissed her goodbye again after walking her home and left for wrestling. Alison picked up the bag in her corner, with a new neon green halter bikini in it. Her first bikini in front of people from school. She wore the bikini with black shorts and a pony tail and was ready to go. At the party Sal acted like her usual body guard when Max was gone, and she got countless compliments. Compliments made Alison scared of having a big ego, so she asked people not to compliment her all the time. Tom, the boy Cassie was dating, never took his eyes off her. But Sal did. Around the end of the party, he took a bathroom break, and left her alone, but not in plain sight. Alison was sitting in the back yard, away from the party, and Tom came to sit next to her.
"Finally away from your body guard, huh?" he said, putting an arm around her. He leaned in and kissed her. Alison still had little feeling for him, so she let it linger a few seconds. Then she pushed him away.
"It's not right." she said, but Tom kissed her again, his time hugging her. Alison let this kiss last longer then before.
"I broke up with Cassie for you." he said, smiling. Just as Alison was about to defend herself Max walked up.
"Nice to know what happens if I let you out of my sight." he said, turning to find Sal.
Alison's heart broke. She looked at Tom with an angry look. "Now we're both single." he said. Alison got up and went after Max.
Max was talking to Sal, asking why he left Alison alone. Alison walked up behind him and gave him a hug. "Baby, you're the only one I want to kiss, and he kissed me." she said, sliding her hands to hold his. Tom's just a pig. Max turned around, and kissed her.
"I know. Tom's going to get the message, don't worry because I love you." he said, Alison smiled, and remembered Cassie. If Tom did break up with her at her own party she'd be a mess right about now. Alison went to go see, and Cassie looked like nothing happened, he cheated on her. Alison kept her mouth shut from then on about that night.

Who is Sal? Sorry, I'm confused. I thought the character in the late one was Stan, Max's best friend? Also, I don't get why she now spontaneously needs a body guard, is this a sign of her insecurity? And I think Max's reaction was a bit odd: being angry and then okay a moment later. Also a sign of sexism perhaps that he doesn't let her go places on her own, since Sal was her "body guard."
These are merely things to take into account for future writing. Keep it up! biggrin - Report As Spam
