• tab Zentar stood silently, the grand ebony architecture of the Griega palace looming overhead. His black clothes and black hair made him seem like a part of the walls had stepped out and began breathing. He stared up at Zachary, waiting.
tab "So they return. The twins have come to earth again, to seek revenge on the death of Raquerz." Zachary steepled his large fingers, his face passive. With a sigh, he leaned back in his throne, blue eyes empty for a second. "We will need to kill them."
tab "Of course," Zentar replied. His voice cut off awkwardly, then echoed off the dark walls.
tab Zachary slowly began to speak. "Enair, the black haired sister, is a threat to our army. Her skill rests not in fighting, but in... our minds. She is an extremely talented psychic, the best I've ever seen. She can completely incapacitate us in a matter of seconds."
tab Suddenly, Zachary stared out the window. Muscles in his jaw jumped, and his aging face was awash in the ivory moonlight that cascaded into the room. Moonlight that brought out every inch of boiling, heartwrenching hatred that slumbered in his heart.
tab "And of Nesertala?" Zentar asked, afraid that his master might explode.
    tab Surprisingly, he stayed calm.
tab "She is faster than us. She is stronger. Nesertala Nerraw is a blood thirsty thing with no regard for human life, and a sickly complex way of thinking. She might kill us all. Every Griegan before we could blink at her beauty."
tab Zentar knew. Her beauty had grabbed at him from the start. Tan skin, pure white hair... glistening pink eyes that sparkled like a foreign ocean as the first touches of sunset licked at its waves. And she proved her indifferent violence when she clutched a still beating heart in her hand.
tab "They are both threats, dangerous threats," Zachary warned. "But Nesertala is a monster."
tab Zentar could only agree. He was falling in love with a beautiful monster.
