I was in the living room watching the morning news.
Nicholas was in the kitchen doing something. It smelt like he was cooking something. And it smelt really good.
"Gas prices have risen yet again in our region." I say over the television, having just heard the report say this.
Nicholas groaned, annoyed. "Again!?"
I nod and smile. "Yeah. Bye fifty eight cents."
He grumbled curses under his breath, mumbling them so I couldnt hear him from this distance.
I chuckled and went back to watching the television.
A minute later Nicholas walked in the room.
I looked at him and covered my nose right away. "Gwah!" I yelp.
Nicholas was in my suit shirt and a pink apron only... Nothing else... The suit shirt was huge on him, so it covered mostly everything that wasnt touched by the suns raise... If you get what I mean...
He jumped. "Sam!?"
I smiled and pinched my nose close. "Oh... Uh... It's nothing..."
He was carrying a tray that had plates of delicios looking food and cups filled with coffee. "A-are you sure? Did you hit it against something? Why is your face red?"
I laughed. "You really dont understand what it means when a mans nose bleeds, do you?"
He blinked cluelessly at me. "Uh..."
I sighed and stood up, walking behind him and hugging his back.
He just stood there holding our food. "What... are you doing?"
I nuzzled his hair and held him tighter. "I love you, Nicholas."
He smirked. "Okay... But that doesnt answer my latest question... or questioins..."
I chuckled and kissed his neck. "I didnt hit my nose or anything. My nose is bleeding because when I say you I got excited." I pulled away and stepped in front of him. "I mean... That shirt and apron..." I ran my eyes over his body. "It's amazing."
He blushed and looked at the floor timidly. "Oh... Is it really that bad on me? I just didnt feel like putting anything else on... And this shirt smells like you, and you smell really good so..."
I smiled and felt tempted to go for round two today. "Oh?" I say taking a step closer to him.
He nodded and took a step back. "Y-yeah... Thats not weird or anything, is it?"
I shook my head and put my hand on his cheek. "Its adorable." I say before kissing him softly.
"S-Sam... What about the food? Its going to get cold..." He says looking down at the tray.
I smiled. "I can maltitask."
He blushed and looked up at me. "I dont know... I think we should eat first..."
I shook my head and grabbed the tray, setting it carefully down on the table. "Whats more important? Food or me?"
"I cant live without either of those things..." He says under his breath.
I chuckled. "Thats so sweet of you to say."
I put my hands on his hips and kissed him softly. "Its a good thing you're only wearing those two things. Otherwise I might have gotten annoyed."
He looked up at me and kissed my lips, wrapping his arms around my neck.
He got up to go the bathroom and I sat up on the couch, feeling myself get dizzy.
I smiled and ran my fingers through my hair. "Wow..." I say outloud.
Everything seems to get better and better everytime we mess around.
I look at the bathroom door and feel my heart start to race. I wanted to see his face. I didnt want to be alone without him.
The tray of food was still on the table. And was somehow still steaming.
I reached out and took a peice of the meat like looking stick. I bit off a little bit and chewed on it.
My taste buds exploded {Almost}.
I jumped and took a bigger bite.
What is this...? Its like nothing I've ever tasted before... Its sweet and spicy... And meat tasting.
I swallowed and scarffed down the rest of the meat thing.
Nicholas came out of the bathroom and jumped when he saw me shuving down peice after peice of his food. "What are you doing?"
I stopped eating for a second to say, "Eating."
He blinked. "Uhm... You shouldnt eat that fast... You'll choke..."
I shook my head and gulped down another peice of meat. "What is this stuff?"
He blushed. "Its sausages soaked in honey."
I ate the last sausage on my plate and swallowed, out of breathe. "That was so good..." I pant.
He smiled. "You like it?"
I nodded and whipped my fingers and mouth clean with a napekin on the tray. "Obviously."
He chuckled. "I'll be happy to make you food if you want."
I stood up and smiled. "Aw. Thank you, Nicholas. That would be really nice."
The next day I got called into work and found out that they wanted me to come to work for the next two days.
Supposedly some F-'d up badly and I was the only that could fix the problem and then had to start the whole thing over again.
One of the editors had been correcting a story when the computer crashed and he lost everything. But he couldnt simply go back on, because the computer had a virus, so they wanted me to come in and fix it so they didnt need to pay a twit to do so.
I found out that the idiot editor had taken down the firewall. So it was allowing pop ups in and one of them probably brought a virus with it. I sighed and hooked up the firewall so I could get started on rebooting the computers system.
{Sorry, I know a lot about this kind of thing... It's rather sad, actually...}
My boss smiled at me. "Good work, Sam."
I nodded and logged on the computer. "Of course, sir."
"Sorry to call you without warning and then making you come in the office." He said with a sheepish look on his face.
My boss wasnt mean or pushy or anything. He was really nice actually. Thats why people arent afraid to talk with him and such. They come up to him and ask questions like a student would with a kind hearted teacher. He's always reminded me of a large teddy bear.
I shook my head and smiled. "Its fine. I wasnt doing anything anyway."
The phone started to ring in my bosses office and he excused himself.
I went to work trying to fix up the damned computer.
Hm... I wonder what the fool working at this computer was doing that would force him to take down the firewall... What if he was looking at porn...
The image of Nicholas only wearing an apron and my suit shirt popped into my head.
I jumped and felt my nose start to bleed. "s**t!" I hiss grabbing a kleenex and putting it on my nose so no blood would get anywhere.
"Sam?"
I spun around and saw one of my co workers smiling at me. "Y-yes?"
"Are you alright? Oh my god! Your nose! Are you alright?!" She gasped.
I nodded and smiled. "Its okay. Its just the dry weather." I lie.
She nodded and had pity filled in her eyes. "Oh. Thats too bad... The weather has been getting rather bad, hasnt it?"
I laughed. "I guess so."
She smiled and looked at the floor, her face going red. "Listen... If your not doing anything tonight... I was thinking that maybe you would like to go out for drinks or something."
I felt my insides tighten. "Oh..."
She jumped. "Not like a date or anything! I was going to bring a few of my friends, so... You can too." She says blushing.
I nodded and smiled. "Oh, sure. I'll keep myself open for tonight then."
She nodded and waved good bye. "See ya'."
I chuckled. "See ya'."
My stomach and head were hurting, I felt dizzy, and I didnt know if my gut was just tightening or if it was exploding.
I spun a pen around in my fingers and could barely focus on the computer.
If I dont hury I wont finish this manuscript in time... I think trying to scorn myself enough to get myself to do something.
I sighed and looked out the window on my right.
It's snowing again...
I smiled remembering last night when Nicholas had shut off all the lights and sat in front of the glass door leading to the patio. He just stood there and watched the snow fall. The color of the snow and the color of the lights from the city bellow us gave him a pale and milky aura or glow on his pale skin.
I walked up behind him and hugged his back tightly. "I love you, Nicholas."
He smiled and looked up at me, his ears against my neck. "Really?"
I nodded and kissed him upside down.
He turned around and-.
"Sam?"
I jumped and looked over my shoulder. "What?"
The woman that had invited me to drinks smiled at me. "Are you ready to go? Works over."
I nodded and logged off the computer. "Oh." I sighed. "Yeah."
I parked the car in my apartment complexes garage and headed inside. I set my things down near the door and headed straight for the phone to see if anyone had called.
The receiver blinked a number 1 at me.
I smiled and hit the play button.
"Uhm... Hey, Sam. This is Nicholas. I was just wondering if you wanted to do anything today... I heard there's a small indoor spa opening up tonight and I got free tickets... So I was just wondering if you might want to come. So... Bye." There was a click and then nothing.
I smiled and hit the rewind button, listening to the message again, before calling him.
The phone dialed and then someone picked it up. "Hello?" Says a sweet voice with a energetic or urgent tone.
"Hello, Nicholas."
"Oh, hey. Did you get my message?" He says with a sudden excitement.
I chuckled. "Yes, I got it."
"So can you come?" He asks growing even more excited.
"Yeah." I say without thinking.
"Great! Okay. I'll have a driver come pick you up in an hour." He says cheerfully.
I nodded. "Okay."
I wrote a note to my co worker apologizing and saying I had to go out for an emergency with a 'friend' of mine. I sighed and tacked the note to the door.
A car was waiting outside for me. It was nice and clean, with a driver holding the door open for me and everything.
Nicholas was waiting inside.
I got in the car, feeling my gut loosen its harsh grip on me.
He smiled and waved. "Hey."
I great him back and leaned over, kissing him softly.
He jumped and blushed.
I pulled away and looked at him. "What? Is something wrong?"
He pointed in the seat in front of mine.
A tall man with a few gray hairs starting shine through his darkly colored ones. "Hello. You must be Sam. Nicholas has told me so much about you." He says holding out his hand.
I shook his hand and blinked at him in confusion. "Yeah... Who are you?"
He smiled. "I'm Nicholas's uncle."
I felt my gut tighten again. "Oh..."
He chuckled. "Dont worry. I wont be with you two much longer. The driver will be droping me off shortly." He says as the car pulls away.
I nodded and looked at Nicholas.
Wait...
I looked back at Nicholas's uncle. He had no Neko ears... What the hell? How could Nicholas, who's a Neko, have an uncle who isnt a Neko?
Hm... I'll ask him later...
I nodded and smiled. "Well its nice to meet you."
He nodded. "Nice to meet you too."
I looked at Nicholas again.
Nicholas looked back at me and smiled.
I leaned over and kissed him, not caring if his uncle was watching.
Nicholas smiled and kissed me back, obviously not caring either anymore.
His uncle turned away and started talking to the driver.
I licked over Nicholas's bottom lip and started to run my fingers through his hair.
He pulled out of the kiss and started to nibble on my neck.
I smiled. "Nicholas..."
He looked up at me. "Hm?"
I chuckled and kissed him softly. "Your uncle is stil in the car... And I dont think that would be repectful if we did anything in front of him." I say.
He sighed and nodded. "Fine..."
I nodded. "Thank you." I kissed his forehead and hugged him tightly. "Such a good boy you are, Nicholas."
He smiled and hugged me back. "Silly human."
I chuckled. "Silly cat."
