In the receding light...
Tears flowing | Truth revealed | Sanity fading | Emotions sealed
Standing before the body, a blade clutched in her hand, she stares down emotionlessly as the blood slowly flows from the open wound. Covered in blood, like the rest of the room, the girl stares silently as tears run down her cheeks from cold empty eyes.
He had deserved it. He had done her wrong and in turn, she had repaid him for his deeds. She now stood before his body as his Angel of Judgment, and he had gotten what he deserved. At least... that's what she kept telling herself as she stands there, staring at his body. His face, his expression, forever caught in the moment of his death. His eyes, wide and dull. His mouth, open, in the midst of a scream. A look of surprise is set upon his features, a look that only the dead can portray. And he, is now one of the dead.
Feeling a smile slowly spread to her lips, she raises the blade to her large golden eyes. Taking in the sight of the redness of the dark liquid before her, she slowly brings it to her lips as a small pink tongue darts out to taste the still warm life essence of the man before her. And as the coppery taste slowly fills her senses, a small smile once again creeps upon the girl's now blood stained lips.
Love forgotten | Pain received | Words spoken | Minds relieved
He had been her first. And he most likely will be her only one. She had given him everything she had. Everything she was. And now, she has given him her innocence. Staring down at the beautiful stain of red, she finds herself wondering why it had been like this. Why it had ended like this. It is true that they say you can never anticipate what will come out of loving someone, but they probably did not have this in mind. Chuckling slightly, almost crazily, she thinks back to the moments they had shared. The words they had shared. The words they had last shared.
Remembering that cold look in his eyes. The harsh words he had spoken. The truths he had revealed to her.
He had never loved her. He never had feelings for her. She had been... what he called... easy. She had been willing, so he had taken. Now... it was her turn to take. To take what he had taken from her. Though as willing as she had been, she now wanted it back.
Looking down at the organ in her hand, she once again smiles. She had it back. She had gotten it back at last... it may not be hers but it was something she had always wanted. Craved for. Needed. She now had the heart she had lost long ago.
As the darkness settles...
Blood dripping | Fate concealed | People dying | Never healed
She could hear the sound of sirens approaching. The police were coming. Glancing down at the body before her, she turns and moves to the next room. This one was covered in blood as well. Only, this was the blood of the innocents that had gotten in her way. Looking down at the vacant eyes of another woman, she feels a slightly bitter smile cross her lips. Stepping over the body, she continues across the room, only to pause at the side of another body. One that was still breathing, if weakly. This was the body of a young girl. The woman's daughter she guessed. She had called that man 'daddy'. She shouldn't have, for now she lay on the ground, her mouth open to reveal a blood-filled cavity where the tongue should have been. She had ripped it out. And now, the girl lay dying. Choking on her own blood. She did not care. She could not find it in herself to care. She had lost her heart remember? She had lost it to the one this child had called... 'daddy'. And without a further glance, she turns and leaves the room. Through the kitchen, and through the back door.
Hearts broken | Lives deceived | Souls shattered | Death achieved
Walking through the soon to be filled streets, she stays in the shadows to avoid being seen. She knew she couldn't hide forever. She knew she did not want to. Nor did she care about being found. She had done what she had set out to do. She had killed the one she loved. The one who had deceived her. She had done what he had to her and now, with his wind chilled heart in her hand, she stands. Silently as the people come. As the cars pass. Distantly, she could hear the sounds of people screaming. Calling. But without paying heed to the words, she steps forward. The heart slips from her now limp hand as she closes her eyes and turn her face upward. She was done. Finished. And now, it was time for her to go.
