• Once there was a girl named Adela. She was young and beautiful, she had the soft and brightest skin everyone has seen in there life, she had long black hair, but she always has a sad expression on her face. A young fellow named Abner was walking on the path to the hills. Along the way he spotted Adela lying next to the tree. Abner saw that Adela had a sad expression on her face so he walked up to her and said “What is wrong?” As Adela look down at her toes she said “Something.... something that....” Adela started to cry and Abner felt bad for Adela so he sat right next to Adela and hugged her. Adela stops crying and had a tiny smile on her face and while she looked up she said “Thanks I needed that.” After that Adela and Abner became good friends but something tragic happen. A late dark night while Abner was sitting on top of a mountain with Adela, Aphrodite was the one that was jealous of the strong love of Abner and Adela. So Aphrodite went to go see the three fates: Clotho, Lachesis, and Atropes. “Shorten the life of Abner to make Adela sad, very sad.” The tree fates did what Aphrodite said. After that Adela and Abner were sitting together on the mountain. Suddenly Abner fell down to the bottom of the mountain. Adela reaches the bottom of the mountain to seek for Abner then she found him. Adela ran close to Abner she felt no air so she was scared. Then she realized he was dead so she lay beside him. Adela cried for two years and couldn’t stop. After that Adela and Abner was slowly changing into a tree, Aphrodite felt bad that she destroy the love of Adela and Abner so she called the tree Weeping Willow. Now that’s the tale when a heart breaking love was there lying on the ground.
