• Crest and Delta:
    The Beginning




    Prologue: “Is this going to hurt?” Adam asked. “Well it shouldn’t.” the scientists said in reply. The scientists were going to try to make history by changing the way the atoms work in our bodies. Technically, they were trying to expand and compress his body. They were going to inject extrane, an extremely dangerous chemical that could alter his brain, letting him control his atoms, enabling him to grow or shrink at will. He and the scientists were willing to take that risk. They injected him with the extrane. There was a flash of light accompanied by a scream. “AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH! What’s happened?” Adam was in shock. He had shrunk to the size of a mouse. Then he got bigger. After about 10 minutes, he gained control of his “powers”. By then, all the scientists had backed up to the wall furthest from Adam. They found out they could change the way atoms worked. After living like that for about 10 years, he met a woman named Starla. Her original name had been Stella, but she was affected by a star experiment. This was because the scientists were trying to see if stars were alive. This is her story. She went up into space with 4 other astronauts. She went out to get a star sample. Her space suit had a coolness failure and the radiation got to her, and everyone knows your body was not made for radiation. She was affected by this but she didn’t die. All that happened was that she “became” a star. After this she returned to earth she met Adam and they went to live on the moon because most of the people on earth did not respect them anymore. They called them freaks, and “weirdoes”. After about 5 years they had a son, his name was Crest and he grew up with powers. Now he has to face the responsibility of powers.





    Crest was 5 years old when he first went to school at a place on the moon. Apparently, there were other inhabitants on the moon. They were abnormal also. After he went to school he got a friend named Nelt. His superhero name was Nebulakid. These two became best friends. On this same day a form of darkness came over the land. His name is the dreadful Blackhole. Blackhole trapped Crest when his mother and father were away. Crest was taken away and was trapped in a place he thought was familiar. He couldn’t recognize it though. Blackhole tried to convince Crest to be a bad person and join the dark side. “Crest, I know you have problems. You have to join the dark side and become a bad person. Novalad is waiting for you. He can be your best friend, or your worst enemy…” Crest said nothing. “You won’t speak, eh? Then I’ll force the darkness out of you!” Blackhole tried to get into his head and used a form of mind control. He got into his head and formed another being out of Crest. “What?! No bad thoughts, I must dig deeper! I will force the demon out of you!” Somehow, Crest rebelled against the bad thoughts by using a new move: Blind. Unfortunately, the new being still formed. “Wait, how… how are you doing this?!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!” A burst of light beamed through the darkness. Almost all at once, Crest returned home. Crest returned home with a bad feeling. “Why do I feel this way?” Crest asked himself. Very unexpectedly, someone replied “Because I am your other side, I am Delta; I am the ultimate.” “Oh… my… goodness...” Crest said.




    Back where Blackhole was, nobody knew and apparently, Novalad was mad. Why was he mad? He was mad because Blackhole was his father. Novalad swore to himself he would never rest until he killed Crest. The next day after all the mutants on the moon finished school, Novalad hacked the school networking files and found out everything about Crest. Now he knew everything there is to know about Crest. Except for one thing… Novalad didn’t know Delta existed. Regardless, he was set out to kill Crest.



    Today was the school dance at Earthly School. Crest decided to go to the school on Earth. They knew about him but did not know he had powers. Novalad had heard that Crest was going to the school on earth that night. Novalad said to himself that this would be a big opportunity to destroy Crest and take over the minds of the high schoolers there. Crest went into the school gym; it was the place the school dance would take place. Novalad put opposite ice cubes in the punch. Opposite ice cubes work as the name implies, they make the punch hotter. Crest took about five cup-fulls of it. Crest started feeling bad and collapsed. No one noticed. Novalad put him in a box full of hot air. Novalad threw it in the sports garage and locked it. “Now all of you shall be my minions! You shall work as slaves and do what you are told!” Novalad yelled. “Yes master.” was what the high schoolers said. They really wouldn’t be that stupid to do that so Novalad used a form of mind control as he said that. “Parties over CLEANUP!!!!” “Actually Novalad, the party is just getting started!!” “What… WHO ARE YOU!?” “I am Niteguy, I am the ultimate!” “I just defeated Lunarboy!” “I am his alter ego. Now, let’s get down to business. Dark Spears!!!” About five black spears at high speed were flying at Novalad. As soon as they hit him, he screamed “AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! Ok, enough playing games, Nova Spheres!!! Small supernova circles flew at Niteguy. “Light-year Speed!!!” Niteguy teleported behind Novalad and socked him right in the cheek. This sent him flying. Novalad teleported behind Niteguy and slapped something on him. Niteguy tried to teleport away. “Beep, Beep, Beeeeeeep!” BOOOSH! Niteguy hit the floor and was hurt badly. “Oh, you’re going to pay for that now!” Niteguy used his special attack. “Darkness of Gaia!!!!!!!!!!” A big, dark, circle as big as a movie theater screen slammed into Novalad. “I’m not done yet Niteguy.” “Super Nova Blast!!!!!!” This attack was as big as the other special move except big and yellowish-orange. This hit Niteguy hard. “This is sad. You want to know why Novalad?” Why Niteguy, why? “Because of DARKNESS OF GAIA SPECIAL MANUVERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” One, Novalad was screaming because a big dark circle was coming at him, to make it worse; there were dark spears and spheres around it. Second- which will be very quick- is that you would not want to be caught in the middle of that. (Actually, a human can’t survive any of those attacks.) Anyway, Novalad got hit (Trust me it wasn’t a pretty sight-at least if you were routing for him- it was definitely not a pretty sight.) and he disappeared back home. Fortunately, the spell Novalad put on the high schoolers still had its affect. Until Niteguy released it and turned normal. But this was the first time anyone saw Delta and it was a great dance.
