• Chapter 4
    The beginning
    After this a big boom went off somewhere. We turned to it, and then ran towards it.
    We ended up at the park and something was glowing near the swing set. We walked towards it silently and quickly. As we neared the thing that was glowing it started to morph into a 10-foot monster! It had long fangs, generous claws and a yell that would wake the dead. “What is that!” screamed Mercury. “I don’t know, but let’s take it down, and ask questions later!” I said. “Right!” they said. We then went into action. I pulled out my sword and aimed. Mars took out her boomerangs and stood next to me. Mercury locked and loaded her bow and arrow. Then Venus took out her daggers and took her place right then and there we fought for our lives.
    Chapter 5
    How we took down the beast
    I charged. My sword blazing with the panic I had. I jumped and the blade sliced through the monsters stomach easily. Mars then took off; jumped into the air and with brute force threw her boomerangs that plunged into the monster “Ahhhhhhhhh!” It screamed. Mercury and Venus combo attacked they jumped. Venus threw both her daggers; at the same time Mercury fired, the ground started to shake the lake next to us exploded and hit the monster with tremendous force. The monster collapsed into the lake and lay there.
    Chapter 6
    The monsters message
    ‘It’s over’ I thought we turned to leave with our weapons in hand when the water started to bubble. The monster arose. “Mercy! Mercy! Please have mercy young warriors!” “Huh?” Mars said. “Cool it talks!” Venus shouted. “Yes, I can please young warriors don’t attack me; I come in peace.” He said softly. “My name’s Calibor.” “Peace, Calibor!” I yelled “Ha! It didn’t look like it” “Oh, I’m sorry, but that’s my nature. And I can’t deny my instincts’ said Calibor. “I came with a message.” “What’s your message?” Mars asked. “My message it’s this: During your journey thou shall learn. Be careful for one will stray from the path of good and leave thi friends. Be on guard ‘cause earth is nearing its end! You must not tell what you can do for only then you will come to rue.” Then with a burst of light he was gone.
    Chapter 7
    The strange message
    "What did that mean?” Mercury shouted at the spot where Calibor once stood. “During your journey thou shall learn. Be careful for one will stray from the path of good and leave thi friends. Be on guard ‘cause earth is nearing its end! You must not tell what you can do for only then you will come to rue.” I repeated. “Hum” Mars said. “Where have I heard that before?” Mars asked herself. “I don’t get it, but it’s getting late we should probably go home.” Said Venus who was quiet till now. “Yeah” We all said and left.
    Venus went to her mansion; Mars went toward the apartments; mercury took to the direction of her home on the west side of town. As for me, I left towards the ocean.
    The ocean! Is what you’re probably asking yourself. Trust me I do not live in the ocean. I live on the coast in a small house. You see after my parents died a few years ago; Sparks and me decided to live on the coast of the ocean. (F.Y.I. sparks is my little sister only 11 I’m two years older than her) Sparks came out crying “Jupiter! Jupiter!” she wailed as she ran up and hug me. “Hey Sparks why are you crying?” I asked. “I though you…. Something happened to you!” She screamed. “It’s okay. It’s okay.” I said smoothing her hair. “Did ya get dinner ready?” “Yes!” she said with a smile, and she ran back into the house.
    Chapter 8
    Sparks words
    As we went inside and sat down for dinner I asked Sparks “How was your day?” “Okay.” “Oh! Jupiter, I almost forgot to tell you! Some man came looking for you today.” “Me? What would he want me for?” “I dunno, but he tolled me to tell you something.” She said “What?” I asked impatiently. “He said ‘Beware for men shall come; be careful of the sun. Tell no one your power. Sparks will help and you will all prevail. Remember this and stay clear of the whale with the white spot on its tale.” She finished. “Then he disappeared, rude huh.” After dinner we did our homework and cleaned up, and went to bed. All the while I was thinking about Calibor, and the stranger said.
    Chapter 9
    The dream
    “Hey! Watch out!” said a voice. ‘Who’s that?’ I thought. BOOM! “Ahhhhhhhh!” I screamed. Red light. ‘What’s that?’ I thought. Buzzz. “Look out!” said the voice again. ‘Huh?’ “What is that?” I yelled. ‘It’s a containment unit’ ‘Who’s in there?’ I asked myself. I approached it cautiously. To my horror in the machine was Sparks! “Sparks, Sparks can you hear me?” I screamed “Sparks!”
