• The day the world came to an end, I was still in school. I was on the roof, overlooking the school, when I spotted a guy who looked like he was trying to get through the gates. "Amaya, what are you looking at?" my friend Sasuke asked. I pulled him over and pointed "Look at that." I said. "Oh, but look. The teachers are coming, I geuss they'll handle it." Sasuke said. "Yea, I geuss you're right." I mumbled. But, when I turned back to check, the man was biting the teacher. "What the hell?" Sasuke muttered, shocked. The teacher was screaming, but than turned his sights on another teacher and bit him. I clenched the sword I always kept strapped to my back. Soon, all the teachers there were walking around, moaning, and there was blood everywhere. Sasuke and I stared at eachother as the same thought came in to mind "They were undead." I ran over to the door. "Amaya, where are you going?" he yelled. "To get my little sister!" I shouted back. I ran through the hallways to my sister's class room. She had ghost white hair and dark eyes. "Renn! No questions, we've got to go!" I said, grabbing her hand. "What do you mean, big sister?" she asked. Suddenly, the speaker came on "All students and teachers must evacuate! I repeat, all students and teachers must- No! Please! AHHH!!!" after that, everyone started screaming and rushing for the doors. "Come with me." I told Renn, fear in her eyes, but nodding. We returned to the roof where Sasuke was waiting with a baseball bat he probably got from the roof shed. Renn looked over the egde, and saw how much the condition had worsened. My long black hair hung over my shoulders. My uniform was a black button-down shirt, dark purple plaid skirt, brown shoes, dark purple tie, and my own black thigh-highs. Renn wore the same thing except white thigh-highs, and Sasuke had pants instead of a skirt. "How do we get out?" he asked. "The airvents!" Renn said pointing, just as we heard banging coming from the roof door. "Okay." I said, jamming my sword's sheath to open the vent. "In, in!" I said. I got in last, and closed it after me. "Be as quiet as possible." I whispered. We crawled through the vents, Renn was in front, she's done this many times to get out of class. From below, we saw a guy who had made a gun out of a staple gun and was killing off Undead with the school nurse and a glasses girl behind him. Renn looked at us, we all nodded in silent agreement, and came down from the air vent. Immediatly nodding in a silent truce, we took out all the undead that surrounded us until the hallway was clear. "Wow, you're really good with that sword!" the nurse said. "Thank you." I said sincerely. "My name is Renn Yamaguchi. I'm her little sister. It's nice to meet you all!" she said. "I'm Amaya Yamaguchi. It's nice to meet you." I said. "I'm Sasuke Ueda. 'Sup!" Sasuke said. "I'm Akira Emiya." the glasses girl with blue hair said. "I'm Jun Mori." the guy with the gun, brown hair, and brown eyes said. "Well, I'm the nurse, Chiyo Yamazaki, but you can call me by my first name if you want to." the short pink haired and pink eyed nurse said. "Oh, wait! I know you! Amaya Yamaguchi! You won the kendo and martial arts tournaments three years in a row!" Jun said. "Yup, that's my big sis!" Renn said proudly. "Guys, we don't have much time, how're we gunna get out of here?" Sasuke asked. "Well, the car keys are in the faculty room." Chiyo said. "Good, did you guys figure anything out about these guys?" I asked. "Yes. Apparantly, the can't see or feel and only go by sound, but they are also atracted to heat." Akira said. I nodded "Good, than we should head for the faculty office." I said, and we began running through the halls, avoiding most battles, but killing some undead on the way. Chiyo went to unlock the door and the rest of us guarded her. No one was inside, so we decided to barricade the door and rest for a bit. "Turn on the tv, let's see what's going on." Sasuke asked. Jun turned the tv on and we saw a newswoman who was talking about the zombies. Which she said was a virus spreading throughout the world, and how everyone should stay inside and not go near those infected. "Are they really trying to a** this off as some disease???" Jun said, obviously pissed. "It makes sense, it keeps the govrnment in control and so people won't cause a panic."Akira said. Renn handed me some bottled water. "Alright, so what can everyone do?" Akira suddenly asked. "What do you mean?" Chiyo asked. "I mean, what can everyone contribute to this group?" Akira asked again. "I'm good with a bat." Sasuke said. "Good enough." Akira shrugged. "I'm good with guns. I know everything about them and I'm a good shooter." Jun said. "Okay." Akira said. "I'm a nurse, so I can help if anyone gets hurt." Chiyo said. "Yes, that's good, but remember, if someone is bitten, there's nothing you can do." Akira told her. Chiyo nodded her head "I know." she said grimly. "Alright, what about you?" Akira asked, pointing at me. Sitting up a bit straighter than I already was "I'm good with a sword and martial arts." I said. "Good. And you?" Akira asked Renn. "Well, I suppose you could say I have two talents. One is, I'm a really good driver, I even have my driver's liscence! And, the other is, I'm a phsycic." Renn said. "A physcic? What kind of phsycic?" Akira asked, intrigued. "I can tell when and where danger will be, and how to either avoid it or fight it head on." Renn said. "So, if say, we find a house to hide out in, you could tell us when the undead will come there, how long we can stay, how to avoid them, maybe say, how to get through a battle with them?" Akira asked. "All of the above, and more!" Renn said. Akira smiled "Good, that's a skill we'll really need, and the fact you can also drive us is good too." she said. "What about you, Akira? What can you contribute to the group?" Sasuke asked. "I'm a genius. I can contribute weapons, battle plans, and even ways to save our loved ones." she said. Sasuke nodded "Sounds good to me." he grinned. Chiyo grabbed the keys to one of the school buses. "Alright, how are we gunna make it out of here?" Jun asked. "Amaya, Sasuke, and I were doing pretty well going through the airvents. And with all the bolts, a kid trying to get away from an Undead wouldn't even be able to get in." Renn said, almost grim. Akira nodded "Alright, I see an opening here let's get in-" Akira was cut off by Renn "In 5 minutes the undead will come through the door." she said quickly. We all looked at her, than understood. "Amaya, can you open the airvent with your sword again?" Sasuke asked. I nodded, and used the sheath of my sword to open the vent. "Let Renn go first, she knows the way outside and can take us to the bus faster." I said. Everyone nodded and let Renn go first. Next was Akira, Jun, Chiyo, Sasuke, than I was last to rebolt the vent after I got inside. Just as Renn predicted, after 5 minutes were up, and I was done rebolting the vent, the undead came crashing through the faculty door, but only had the sound of the tv to greet them.
