"Do it," hissed a voice," No one will get hurt."
My hand started to press down on his throat.
"I don't want to," I whispered with tears in my eyes.
"He was never good to you, he deserves it," said the voice.
The voice was true. The boy never did me any good. He was a bully. He deserves it. All those years of teasing are gonna come to an end. My head will be cleared.
I started to squeeze my hand around his throat. I watched the life drain out of his eyes as he begged me to stop. Every drop of his light of life draining into darkness. He deserves it.
"Very good," the voice said, sounding pleased, "All the bad times will be done. Stick with me and you'll never cry again."
I smiled. Finally to have all my enemies killed and gone. I wouldn't have to be scared to go to school. I could say anything without being trashed.
The boy's body was limp. He was dead. I got to my feet and looked at him.
"Not so tough now, are you?" I said to the lifeless body.
I turned to leave but my body wouldn't move.
"What's going on?" I asked the darkness.
I was pulled back down to my knees. My wrists being held down by chains. I tried to pull away but only to be forcefully pulled back down.
"Don't fight child," the voice whispered, "I promised you a future with happiness where nothing could hurt you."
The voice betrayed me. I was only its puppet forced, to complete his words. I was never promised a happy ending. It promised me death.
I felt something jab into my back. I let out a cry, What was happening to me? What have I become? The voice was killing me from the inside. Attacking everything and I allowed it.
A shock of pain came from my stomach. The bitter taste of blood rose up my throat. I started coughing.
"Relax. You won't be in pain soon," the voice said.
I sobbed. I wished I never listened to the voice. I would've had a happy future without it.
My mouth filled up with hot liquid. I spit it out, hoping it would stop. But it wouldn't. I felt myself go weaker. I couldn't stay on my knees. I fell onto my side.
"Good. Don't fight," the voice said.
I had to fight. I didn't want my life to slip away, like the boy's. It would be to easy.
With the rest of my strength, I jumped up, forcing myself to stand up and run. I broke away from the chain, leaving it on the ground.
Before I could do anything else, everything went black.

- Whoa, your English teacher must be concerned for your mental state. I am not, but whenever someone wrote anything remotely violent in my sixth grade English class, my teacher would pull them aside and ask if it was based off of any true events/feeling/etc. xD No no, I am not concerned for your mental well being unless you would like for me to be. This was an interesting piece though.
