dont believe many people are chemically embalanced when it comes to depression. i think very few are. however, i do think there are people who do need pills...like people who are schizophrenic or autistic or mentally disabled. i just think our society thinks pills are the answer to our problems when they are not

Like I said in my description...I don't think everything needs to be prescribed....but i didn't say people don't need it. Problem with our society is every little problem is. Some pills have made them worse. why? because they feel their is something wrong with them which makes them more depressed. Most of those are biological problems due to chemical imbalances in the brain. A pill helps regulate those chemicals. I was diagnosed with moderate depression and took anti-depressants for a while before deciding that I didn't need them. Some people need them for about half a year to a year before they can get back to themselves. Others might take longer. Medicine can save lives, you know.
