• Abstinence should be practiced according to religion. Christians should most definitely practice it, considering it is a rule in their Bible. What, though, should atheists do? Is it truly immoral for one who has no god? What of a person who’s god never specifies sexual restrictions? Should Satanists do the exact opposite of what god recommends?
    Consider this: a condom! What, be-blighted, is so hard to grasp about that concept so simple that it can be explained in one word? So what if God might not exist, giving people the liberty to do whatever their idea of moral should be? That does not mean one should be so inconsiderate to the overwhelming population and multiply like rabbits without a care in the world to subjecting a child to adoption agencies; it is completely uncalled for! “Not wanting to kill the mood” is not a valid excuse for refusing to run down to the drug store to buy one or two of the pocket-concealable helpers; preventing an unplanned - and probably unwanted - pregnancy is completely worth waiting a few minutes, the gas money, walking, and the condom itself.
    Satan means “the enemy”, not “the baby machine.” By their doctrine, they may do as they please so long as it honors Satan. That leaves pre-marital sex quite open for violation, but that is where a person should choose from one of two kinds (the one that gets them or another pregnant and the one that doesn’t). Morality, quite honestly should have nothing to do with abstinence. It all should come down to what both partners want and the type of courtesy they are going to show to the rest of the world and to the child that they are going to have to raise if the decision is made to have sex without a condom. Adoption should not be an alternative to raising a child any longer.
    Of course, if a person just does not like God then they should not take it out on themselves by spawning the burden of a child they would much rather not raise. They should think of all the hospital bills they are not going to pay! To put it simply: Christians should stay abstinent, and all others should ask themselves whether they want a child or not before diving into someone’s bed.
