"Guess who got us two hawt dates for the Halloween party for tonight!" My bestie Josie sings.
"I'm guessing you did. How did you get someone on such a short notice?" I say.
"Rayray haven't you ever heard of the Internet? Gawd sometimes it's like you're Amish or something!" Josie says, overreacting as usual.
"I'm not sure that's a good idea." I say, remembering what my mom use to say. 'You never know whose on the other end of that computer.'
"Oh please it's totally safe. Now let's hurry up and get ready, I don't wanna be late!" Josie sings and runs into my small bathroom with her costume. I roll my eyes and get into me Little Red Riding Hood costume, which was two sizes too small thanks to Josie. Once I get the dress buttoned I put on the cape. I let my long, curly brown hair fall over my shoulders and hang down past my waist. I pull the hood up and apply a little bit of eye makeup and lipstick.
"Ooh look at you! You should let me dress you more often, you look hot!" Josie cheers happily. I look at her costume, the little dress made her look like a prostitute. I just smile at her.
"You look great too." I compliment and link arms with her. We walk to the party since it was only a few blocks away. About halfway down the street from my house a car pulls up to us.
"Josie?" A voice calls from the drivers side.
"Ohmigosh! John!" Josie exclaims and give this John kid a perky smile, "Where's Zack?"
"Backseat. Now you two get in here!" He orders. Josie gets in the front passenger seat and is all over John. They must be the ones she met on the computer. I climb into the backseat of the camaro. It smelled like beer and smoke. Then I look at my date. He is FINE! he had georgeous blonde hair that hung in his impossibly blue eyes. He was in a Prince Charming costume. He smiles and I smile back.
"Your much prettier than your friend described you." He says. I blush and giggle like a kid.
"Thanks." I mumble sheepishly. He drapes an arm over my shoulder and kisses me. His breath tasted and smelled like alcohol. I kiss him back though, his lips were just so soft and inviting.
"Where are we going?" Josie asks suddenly, I pull away and look at John.
"Gotta stop at my place for a sec." He replies smoothly.
"Oh ok." Josie says, sounding a little nervous. I become very nervous too. We pull up to a small apartment a few minutes later.
"Why don't you too get down and look around." Zack says.
"I-" I begin but Josie cuts me off.
"We'd love to." Josie says and gets out of the car. I sigh and follow along.
*************************************************************************************************************Two days later both girls were found dead in the woods behind the apartments. The autopsy shows that both girls were violated then stabbed multiple times. They say not to meet up with people from the Internet in a private place. These girls learned that the hard way.
