Colourful dots
On plain paper
A genius combination
Or a substitute memory?
Sometimes colours
Blind the memory
Replace emotions
That once took you.
Teal satin
Accompanied by a beautiful smile
What little remains of the memory
Of a person I once knew.

Description:
This is just a poem that I wrote for English at school, and it got lots of good feedback so I thought I may as well enter it.
It's basically talking about a picture of someone, but saying how seeing the picture of the person is different from seeing the actual person.
I s'pose it should be said that the person it's about has died, and seeing a picture of her is one of the only ways I have to remember her. - Date: 07/19/2008
