Flowers among flowers
sitting in perpetual acquaintance
soft pedals brush against rough ones
colors varied and shades a many
beauty is nothing
not even a stage
it holds great value
while others taste contrast
it lives among ashes
and dies within roots
let it be and it will grow
to your timeless height
within a vast bottle
open but not to rattle
it hides when in darkness
but doesn't always
shine in its brightest hour
flowers among flowers
hold its pedals to its ashes
and cry by the roots

Description:
This poem is about flowers dying in a beautiful way.
I saw a few die because of the rain and fires.
This is my view and appreciation for them.
I hope you all like it. - Date: 07/23/2008
