Love

Love is lavender.

It sounds like a newborn baby's quiet coo.

It tastes like sweet cocoa milk.

It looks like an angels wings.

And it feels like silk.

I always preferred metaphors to similes, as I feel similes take the punch out of imagery, and give flat feeling. I think if you turned all of the similes into metaphors, it would flow more smoothly, and you would not have to use "like" a hundred times. razz 2/5.
