    I don't get why you're ignoring me,

    Or anyone else for that matter.
    I don't think you like me very much,
    Or you're just selfish,
    I'd bank on the latter.

    So no longer will sit waiting for you,
    It was a foolish thing,
    So many of us do.

    No one should wait to hear,
    What others have to say,
    You must be true to yourself,
    For you see there is no other way.

    If someone can't treat you,
    With the respect that you deserve,
    Don't let them know that for some time,
    Their voice was all you heard.
