• Description: This poem was made by me shortly after my boyfriend broke up with me back in February. It is based on real life events. Some info for the uneducated: Keiko was a killer whale who died in 2003 of acute pneumonia. He was born wild, spent many years as a captive who had many ailments including skin lesions, then he spent his last few years free again. My soul died when Keiko passed,
My inner child, away was cast.

I was dead.

After four years of doubt,
You came to me and asked me out.
I was sure it would eventually have failed,
But a close bond formed, and prevailed.

You revived my soul,
And made me feel full.

I felt alive once more.

We had fun together,
It felt like we were to be bonded forever.
I had wanted to kiss you,
To make our love true.

Then, you ended the tie,
My soul will now wither and die.

I am dead again.
