    I start to cry
    tears of blood
    until I begin to drown
    in my tears flood

    I awake again
    in someplace new
    relived for a second
    until I see you

    you die a thousand times before me
    before you can be saved
    I can’t stand seeing this
    in your blood you begin to bathe

    closing my eyes I shout and scream
    only to awake in my room
    half expecting you to appear
    and again head to your doom

    but you do not
    blankly I stare
    until I call you on my phone and say how I feel
    because my greatest nightmare is not having you there
