I am floating down a river
drowning in the ebbs of time
surrounded by memories
haunted by the past
I struggle for air
but the intangible weight
of my memories weight me down
I try to move but I cant because
the unbearable weight of my memories
bring me down

- The first line made me think of "Aqueous Transmission" by Incubus.
