On a moon lit night,
Where wolves do prowl,
A scary hiss,
An out loud growl,
There stood a man,
Draped in night,
Yellow eyes,
Quite a fright,
He looked around,
And began to grin,
A drop of blood,
Falls down his chin,
A glinting white begins to show,
A fang that drips the crimson dew.
Another one as white as snow,
As this one comes, there are two,
Flying down the hill,
He sets off at an amazing pace,
He grins and laughs,
Malice in his face,
He stops dead,
His feast in sight,
For upon his neck delivered,
A fearsome bite,
Another thing above appears,
His noise awaking the maid,
She glanced at him,
As he began to fade,
The standing one took off,
To wash out his head,
She tried to follow,
But rather went to bed,
This vampire was a damphir,
Forever doomed to starve,
His lust for blood into his soul,
Forever did it carve,
A wanting dream every night,
To drink until he became,
A monster with not a thought,
Until it came, “TAKE AIM!”
Then a bullet pierced his heart,
A silver tip to hurt his soul,
A silver shadow began to form,
From within his chest, out the hole,
It rose up into the sky,
Standing out against it.
Upon the human the shadow fell,
Biting out just a bit.
But all the same,
It withered in pain,
For upon this hunters neck,
A vile of demon bane,
The hunter grinned at this win,
But as the monster feigned,
He rolled up onto this man,
Wrenching out his leg,
A piteous cry he screamed,
To the vampire he did beg,
He took pity,
Tying up a splint,
The man grinned an evil one,
Into the back went a shard of flint,
The dampir howled into the sky,
As fire burned up his back,
He fought his way into a pool,
Where he jumped in before a profound CRACK!
A silver bullet above him shot,
Meant to take him out,
Into the sky,
Oh did the human shout,
He stamped around,
Cursing with profanity,
Until his wife came out,
Then he had to claim some sanity,
The vampire heard this all,
Smiling for he had won,
That’s all he had to do,
But now he was done,
The river gently took,
His silent sleeping form,
