My wife saw many magical things,
While lying in that bed,
forests, castles, torchlights, clifftops, seas,
Her imagination ran wild, it knew no bounds,
As I held her in my arms,
whispering lightly in her ear,
Her kisses were magical, like kissing velvet,
soft and supple, but still strong and reacting,
Our guests knew nothing of our night-time embraces,
as they slept on soundly, wrapped up in the duvet,
of our very best bed down the hall.
I wished I could hold my love forever more,
never having to seperate,
never having to yearn for her while we were apart,
but it was not to be,
I left her, unintentionally you must realise,
So now I wait for her to come to me,
And join me for the rest of eternity,
reminiscing of the time spent,
upon that magical second best bed.
