Where are you? ~

• Artist: i l y infinity-plus-one
• Description: I wrote this during a dark period of my life, and it really helped me overcome it. I had lost someone I loved, and it was hard. I couldn't really do anything but sit there. I hope this poem speaks to you like it did to me.

The sky is blue,
The sun is bright
The trees are green
The clouds are white

My toes are tickled,
From the soft green grass
I breathe the air
And sit alone, as a flock of birds pass

I lay down, and gaze at the sky
I feel calm, and my anger lacks
I open my eyes and see your face
And I realize, that I must go back.

I miss you a lot, and so I walked
I skipped and ran and walked and paced
When I got back, you were not there
I looked back, at the time I wasted

I stood there, breathlessly, for a while
Then I fall back and cry, into my soft red sleeve
Now do you see how strong love is?
I miss you so, I dont think I can live.

I didn't realize
How sad it would be
When you left my life
And nearly killed me

Now I have moved on
To better things
But I have not found love
Because of you, it still stings

I still think of you
Day after day
You are always in my thoughts
As I stay there and lay
