• Maniacal Grin
    by snowflake123

As you sit there with your maniacal grin across your face,
Watching me as I sit there with tears dripping down my face,
Because of what you have done to me.

You laugh at the pain I’m in,
And you call yourself a friend.
    You act all innocent,
Then you stab me in the back again.

You said you wanted us together,
    Then you break us apart.
You find my life to be a game,
And I’m the puppet dangling from the strings above.

The strings that are looped around your cold heartless fingers,
As you control my every motion,
Treating me as if I was nothing more than the dirt below,
And the side act of your show.

You gaze into my eyes and say you love me as a friend,
But when I look deep into your soul,
It says nothing more then I hate you,
And as I fall to the ground.
    You look at me,
And laugh once again in you maniacal ways.

    Your true colors have shown,
    But no one believes me,
They all still believe you’re all innocent.

    Until that faithful day,
When you stab them in the back.
As you have done to me,
    Time and time again.
