Part One : Sunrise.
As the sun began to rise
.. And the morning dew settled
My sunshine came to me, once more
Roosters rejoiced at the sight of
.. The Sun.
Little grandmas woke up smiling
Flowers opened
.. Trees stood in silence,
Oh, what landscape!
As we know, it is but the
.. Stars turn to sleep
And for midnight wishes to be granted
Fresh start, new day
.. One wrong move, and regret it all
We must not cry in sorrow
.. For Yesterday
We must create a new day
.. Today.
Part Two : Sunset.
Oh, what sadness has befallen!
.. Must it end so soon?
Come back, I wish
My sunshine, my darling
.. You leave me in dark, once more.
Please stay.
Part Three : Midnight.
No sunshine to warm thy soul
.. Only a twinkle of hope in the sky
A flash of light, every now and then
Why must it be so?
.. Why does thou leave me?
Maybe you'll be back, maybe not
But not without a leave of absence
.. A scar of heart
To remind me that I do not own you
When will you see that it is mere hope
.. And not carved in stone?
You aren't mine, for this I am sure
But please
.. Help keep me dreaming
I'll wish on the stars for you
And maybe, when you appear again
.. You'll stay, with me
Instead of beginning all this once more.

Description:
You are my sunshine,
My only sunshine
You make me happy
When skies are gray.
Let's explain this poem. So, the sun rises and sets every day, right? Well, there may be some relationships were they break up and get back together again. Sunrise is the beginning of the relationship. Sunset is the end of break-up. Midnight is the aftermath of the break-up, but knowing that the couple will get back together. - Date: 12/04/2008

Oooh, it's so beautiful! I love the image of a sunrise and sunset. It's also a nice metaphor for a relationship.
