• Description: This is an actual letter I wrote to a guy(it wasn't a poem at the time). He's a marine and before he went to boot camp he sent me a letter telling he always liked me and wished he had gotten to know me better because we could have had something.. that pretty much broke my heart. I liked him forever and thought I never had a chance with him.. But it's okay because now, he broke up with his ex and we're talking again :] (p.s. it's supposed to be free verse, I'm not very good at free verse.)

There are so many things I want you to hear from this letter
And it’s impossible to mention everything I’m feeling
But I’m going to try my hardest to tell you everything...

First of all, I like you. More than words can say.
I’m always thinking about you: every hour, every day.
I can’t wait to hear your voice again…

It hurt me so much to read your letter.
There’s too many things that I should have told you.
I wish you would have known…

Also, I know you’re in love with her.
I wish I could change that,
But right now all I can do is pray for your feelings in return...

I care about you so much,
Everyday I hope that you’re doing well
Or just doing your best

You deserve an amazing girl,
Perfect and beyond compare, I’m not saying that it’s me,
But I sure as hell hope you give me another chance.
