I tell you once, and I tell you so true.
Never will I be love only to you.
Hate me and loathe me, then I will love you.
Let us then play of the Catch Twenty-two.
Find me a sidhe folk as can tell a lie.
Only then may you dote upon mine eye.
Pluck a star from the heavens, give it me.
Distill all the salt from seven of seas.
Once you do all of these, right and still true
Only then, only, will I love of you.

- Title: I Do Not Love You
- Artist: Kuro Neko Donno
-
Description:
Ten lines rhymed iambic pentameter, AB, AB, etc. rhyme scheme. The wording is a little odd in places because of the number of syllables needed for each line. It isn't the most sophisticated thing, but I don't write poetry very often. Some of the inspiration for this comes from the books I read. Maybe you can guess what they are. (No, Catch Twenty-Two is not one of them.)
Please tell me if you think anything can be improved for it. I'd love to know your opinions. Thanks for reading! - Date: 12/13/2008
